I've played Mtg since 2011 and have played at most of the local gaming stores in the Metro Richmony Area. While I've had great experiences at most of the stores, MTT stands out.Amazing staff. Great people. Healthy environment. Competitive, but in a challenging way not intimidating. They do a great job catering to both new players of games and people who have played for a long time. Staff goes above and beyond. Recently, I told them about a cube I was building and they helped me find the cards I needed. I once got burned online buying a chase mythic for my Brother's birthday. I went to MTT to buy it and they knocked a few bucks off just cause it was for my Brother's birthday. That demonstrates the people they are. If I'm playing Fnm or doing a Prerelease, MTT is my first choice every time( and I pass at least 3 or 4 others to get there) support local gaming stores. Support good people. Support MTT.

Been going here for about 2 years seince they moved close to my home, always been amazing, the staff is friendly, they usually have decent stuff in the case, and their dnd room is awesome. Also they sponsored my high schools musical so that's a plus

I have a 7 year old and a 5 year old who love pokemon cards. My husband and I have taken them in on different occasions, and we both are always very impressed with how well the employees interact with our kids. We really appreciate the excellent customer service.

Modern Table Top Gaming (MTTG) is unlike any other gaming store I have ever been. As soon as you enter, you are greeted and welcomed by the knowledgeable and friendly staff. I have traveled to many gaming stores throughout the country but this store is by far the cleanest and most organized store I have ever come across. Check out the unique sign seen from miles away. The staff will go above and beyond to ensure a superb customer experience! Deserves more than FIVE stars!

Never going back in here. Walked inside and was stared down by a lady sitting at the table. The guy behind the counter couldn’t be bothered pull his head out his computer to ask any questions or have any customer service. Granted I walked in knowing what I wanted to buy but that doesn’t mean he couldn’t have asked some questions and tried to make a sale. But if i didn’t I highly doubt the guy would have been any help on that.

Wife and I stopped by during their grand archive event and FNM commander. I had the intent to get back into MTG but was turned onto grand archive by a store member.
He pointed out some super helpful folks that would be willing to help us learn the game. It appears the players here are super positive and I appreciated every interaction that we had in the 25ish minutes in the store. We will definitely be back!

Literally the coolest spot in town!! Staff are amazing, will help you with anything you need. Events comes by very frequently. And even the players there are friendly! 10/10
