I joined in October 2023. And by November 2023, I have been given six cards. Fraud charges. But they immediately refunded my funds back to my account. I am presently waiting on funds to be put back into my account. The customer service is amazing. Friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable.

This is the only credit union location I come into. Chemeka is amazing!!! She handles all mine and my families banking needs. Her customer surpasses all the rest.

Advertised branch offices are open on Saturday but in reality only drive through & ATM are the only available services.

This location is unprofessional and negligent. They had an issue with their ATMs and rather than shutting them down after a repair ticket was put in, they continued to let customers use them. When I asked why they didn't close the ATM, the teller stated "because it's your problem and hasn't been a problem for everyone" when I asked about getting my funds back that the ATM took but didn't credit to my account they told me no but that I could take it out of one of my other accounts to cover it. VaCU backed the actions of these negligent employees and acted in bad faith. No recourse was offered to the customer due to their policy but the problem stems from VACU ignoring their policy in the first place

A company called just answer was taking $30 out of my checking account every month. I did not authorize this charge. Virginia Credit Union handle this for me and made it so easy

Please consider opening the lobby on Saturdays. Waiting in 30-45 minute drive thru line is non-productive, thanks.

Not open on Saturday is an absolute crock you should be able to walk into it on Saturdays it's only day alot of people can go!

Don’t waste your time with this bank. I just opened an acct with them and will be closing it. They sent me a debit card in the mail that I activated. Tried using it multiple times for small purchases with the funds in my acct and it was declined. Called the card services number and they told me it was declined for insufficient funds and they’d connect me with security services, was on hold for over 10 mins so I hung up. Went into this location and they told me the same thing and they’d call card services, even though I already did. They can’t do anything. What’s the point of having a physical bank if you still have to call the same people.

The lobby needs to be open on Saturday. There is no need to make a 30 min drive to another branch for certain transactions.

Highly unprofessional hiring management would not recommend serious job seekers to avoid this place. Rearranged work schedule for three interviews for the hiring manager to get an attitude because I inquired about benefits that would be offered. Then left three plus weeks waiting for any kind of response when I finally reached out was told they’ve moved on to other candidates and had no plans to let me know after I put aside time for three interviews

Service is always amazing! If you make the effort to take care of your credit, and not let your credit go downhill, Virginia Credit Union will always take care of you financially. You have a part in building or rebuilding your credit!
