“Clean, spacious and great service. Patrick is a star. Always helpful and getting us with a smile and help with any questions. We will shop here well into the future and can recommend it without reservation. Prices reflect the rising costs of food.”
“This is actually one of the nicer mainstream supermarkets or grocery stores I've ever lived near and been kinda forced to use for a short period of time. If you live near one and can plan to buy according to their promotional scheme and schedule, it's definitely somewhere I would choose to shop.
That being said, I did unfortunately have to deduct one star from the otherwise perfect rating. But their operational structure and pricing and promotional work are obviously aimed at a slightly higher demographic than that of a retired disabled man on a fixed income. Now when I was working, I'd definitely have chosen this Publix. Great staff, very clean and well run. But they simply don't have prices that make it workable on a fixed income.
I won't mention the competitor that I usually shop. But they offer a lot of meat, one of the biggest expenses in your food budget, that is "reduced for quick sale". Every day they take anything that has less than 48 hours before it's use by date and reduce it. Sometimes as much as 70%. This is HUGE when you're trying to live on $300 a month in food. But there's something to be said for Publix standards that they won't allow customers to buy anything that might be less than absolutely perfect.
One other thing that would help is that because you're obviously focused on upwardly mobile professional couples with a couple of kids. This is why you do specials where the customer has to buy 5 of an item to get the lower price. Or you do buy 2 or 3 and get one free. My preferred store allows you to get the sale price with their member card, even if it's a buy three and get 50% off. You'll still get 50% off even if you just need one. And their member card deals really do save you about 25% if you watch what you buy and when. So it simply costs about 20-30% more to shop at this Publix.
And for brief background. I've had several surgeries over the last few years that restrict my ability to walk up and down stairs for a few months. So I've been staying at an extended stay hotel within walking distance (for most people. I've been doing it in an electric wheelchair). So I was kind of a captive audience for several months, several times over the last few years. And I can tell you real comparisons from the times I was here. As I always shop with this one lower priced chain of grocery stores.
My only suggestion after all that is that you put together a few member program pricing incentives aimed at single or married with no kids at home older couples who often have to decide between food and the medication that keeps them alive or reduces their pain.”

“They have everything you might need. The checkout is super easy, and there are so many workers there to help you when you need it. Starbucks is in the front of the store. You can buy your drink and take it with you while you're shopping. They also sell some local swag like T-shirts and car flags. Have fun shopping!!”
“Outstanding customer service. My son told me about Aldi's produce is fresh and stays good when you bring it home. Tried your beef last week and went back today for more. We usually shop at a meat market for our meats. So to impress us with your meat is a big deal. Thank you”
“I utilize their grocery pickup through Instacart weekly. It is always completely accurate with fresh produce picks. The staff is friendly and efficient and the smaller store keeps shopping quick!”
“I recently visited my brother in Midlothian, VA & had a great experience, was nice to see similarities between DC stores where I live & VA stores... I shopped at the 12431 Hull St Rd Midlothian, VA 23112 & the 14381 Midlothian, VA 23113... Same service, cleanliness & friendly staff but no water left after buffing floors at both Aldi locations at opening, they must have buffed floors earlier like it should be done...”
“This is where to go for anything fresh, just like the name says. It’s tiring to pay a fortune for fruit with no taste. So I don’t mind paying a little more for fruit and veggies that actually tastes good.”
“This Aldi is consistently clean and fully stocked. I always buy a fresh cauliflower pizza as they are the best we've had. My disappointment lies in it being a smaller store without a lot of selections that are available in other, larger stores.”
“Good prices, decent selection. They have most of the essentials that I would want at a grocery store. They don't have some non-food items I wish they had but it's a small store just a little bigger than a convenience store so they do a great job with the space they have.”

“Rancho Latino Market is a really neat place. It's like stepping into another country - great Latin music, a cafe, an eatery, groceries, a small boutique, and pool tables. This has such a great vibe as not only a place to shop and eat but also for bringing together the local community. Well done, Rancho!”
“(Translated by Google) I recommend you visit it ... good products and the workers are very friendly(Original)Les recomiendo que lo visiten... buenos productos y son muy amables los trabajadores”
“This is so biased but I love Kroger. I love everything they have to offer, the store has such a diverse range, their Starbucks employees don't look angry every time I don't just order plain coffee, their produce is high quality, I just love everything about Kroger. I've never been failed by a Kroger before.”
“I don't really agree that those in the kitchen don't wear masks and are eating at the same time as preparing food. They are also losing the seasoning of the chicken slices”

“not sure why the rating is so low atm I am leaving this review... been here so many times people are always very nice and accommodating. Delicious affordable food and generous portions.”
“Best time of day to come is at the crack of dawn, otherwise it's always busy. The prices are high and less options to choose from but it's convenient to have a grocery store just minutes from my home. The produce isn't that great so I usually just get a bag of apples instead of berries.”
“Just moved from DC; After moving we realized our options for groceries were Walmart or Publix. I honestly have never been to either before. We started shopping at Walmart but I come back to Publix for the main reason is that it’s a grocery store and Walmart is a dept store.”
