horrible. haven't been working there for 2 weeks and i already got fired, because i wasn't feeling well and had to leave. I also had to call out the week before due to family issues. there is absolutely NO communication. All the workers that i know of hate it there. They don't treat their workers like people. There's no concerns of the workers or the mental health.

Waiting in pickup spot for over 45 minutes. See them repeatedly go to the first couple spots. No one answers the phone of course. Terrible service.

I like this store better than the Powhatan location as it always seemed to be well-stocked. However, it's pretty disgusting to have a deli worker continually brushing their long braids back over their shoulders with the same hand used to handle your food. I was always under the assumption that hair had to be covered or at least under control when wiring around food.

One of the door greeters that is here later in the day, I think his name is chuck (I'm not sure at this point I've made every attempt to avoid him) has made shopping at this location a very stressful task. It all started maybe 3 months ago at self checkout. I finish my transaction and it doesn't give me a receipt. I let the attendant know and he glances over my stuff and let's me go and I make my way towards the door closest to us (mind you this door is in view of this checkout) and this man Chuck comes to me asking for a receipt. I tell him I didn't get one from the machine and that the attendant will agree with me, I motion to the attendant and he waved at me that I'm good to go. Chuck doesn't like this and begins accusing me of stealing this and other obscenity's. I get fed up at this point and turn around to head towards the other door, as I'm walking away I hear him mumble "what and asshole" and something else but at this point I'm too far to listen. Now since then this man makes a point to single me AND my fiancé out every time we enter the store. From standing between me and the door when I try to leave to other times he will be IN THE SELF CHECKOUT AREA watching me checkout and then run to the door just to cause problems for me. He'll drop whatever he's doing nearby to make a point to single me out and make whatever comment he has against me, usually cursing at me or something of the like. To most recently yesterday me and my fiancé were leaving and we bout 5 items, I opted for a text receipt and we walked toward the door. Now at this time the fiancé is in pain due to an ankle injury earlier in the week so she's holding onto me to make our way out and we turn toward the door and Chuck jumps out from a corner near the subway, obviously trying to hide from us, scaring my fiancé to the point that she almost falls over. This man paints a terrible image on this location to the point where I've told most of my friends in the area to avoid this one and go to the one further down hull street to do their shopping

I love this Walmart a lot, I probably come here like 2 to 3 times a week. I like to come early in the morning, they open at 6. It's always very well stocked and they actually have employees that can help you find stuff you are looking for (shocked). My only issue is that self checkout is basically the only option and sometimes your girl just doesn't feel like doing all that in the morning lol.

The subway here sucks!! I've had some bad experiences in the past but I'm though with this subway!!! Today I wanted to try their sliders and I'm telling you they are horrible! 1 teeny tiny thin piece of ham and a super thin slice of cheese. I asked them to not bake it and they did anyways. It was like rubber so I couldn't pull it apart. I had to throw it away. These people never listen because they have baked other sandwiches that I asked them not to bake. Also they give you an attitude if you ask for a lot of sides. They aren't friendly at all.

The staff working at this store openly insult customers and there is no supervision. There is no way to resolve problems at this store. The store manager and regional manager are unreachable. Customer service puts me though to someone who has no information and can do nothing.

I frequent the Walmart store on Hopkins Road often. Usually I go there very late at night due to the heavy traffic during the day. I once liked Food Lion however their prices on items such as, for example, Breyers Ice Cream, is a dollar more than Walmart along with many other items as well. I've found that the employees there are very friendly and helpful.

I usually wouldn't be yelping a Wally World, but I received exemplary service from the Assistant Manager, Tameka. Kindness and customer service are so rare nowadays that I would be remiss if I didn't thank her and write so others could see how great she was. The Walmart app indicated that an item was seeking was in store. However, upon arriving I could not find it. Ms. Tameka did her best to help me find it in store. When it could not be found, she called Walmart to see if she could try and locate it. She ultimately assisted me in securing the item and to getting it in the most expedient and efficient manner. She was patient and beyond kind. I truly appreciate her help and kindness. PS- this is also one of the cleanest Walmart stores in the area. Totally different vibe here!

The ladies at the deli need to take people in line, not by the color of their skin. It was obvious and not only to me but to other customers that was standing there. Totally looked over us and went to others as they walked up.

The only Wal Mart I visit. I am a big fan of their Grocery pick up service. I have tried the service at other local grocery stores and Wal Mart is consistently the best. The inside of the store is clean and workers are friendly.

I'm not a Walmart person but this one is about the only one I will visit. Employees are so nice and helpful unless you come late at night then not so much. Then there's one line open and you have to wait for all the employees to buy their snacks and carry on conversations. Prices and selection is good and it's nice they have a large garden center. Weekends can be busy but that's the case everywhere!
