Now a Spark by Hilton. Very friendly staff, renovated rooms. Great location next to the National park. Close to everything, many options for food only a short walk away.

So happy we stayed here. From the moment you walked through the door, you could tell that housekeeping, and all the staff at the Best Western take a lot of pride in what they do and how they present their hotel. Our room was clean and well made up. None of those weird smells that you get from other places. Our room was clean and inviting with a comfortable bed. It was just what you would expect for a well run hotel establishment. Best part of our stay was the breakfast. Everything you could’ve needed to make a regular breakfast amazing was there including whipped cream, sauces, and fruits for your waffles. Eggs and sausage. Pastries, fresh fruit, Multiple types of cereal, cold juice. Just a little more then what the other places do. I Would highly recommend Chincoteague Island Best Western.

We have enjoyed staying at the Best Western several times. The rooms and beds are comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the location is ideal for biking into the Refuge. Unfortunately their TV system has changed and we could no longer view what we wanted. Baseball playoffs were going on, televised and received in a local restaurant, but unavailable on the motel TV. The desk clerk kindly tried to help but agreed that the new system had been a mistake. Keep in mind if that is important to you.

Walls are paper thin. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired.
Nice if you want to be close to the Chincoteague wildlife refuge, but overall not very impressed.

Our family booked a room here for two nights to spend some time in the area before my son started his summer program at the field station nearby.
It's been a little while since we stayed in a hotel. But we lucked out and picked an amazing one!
The staff on the phone was very friendly and helpful in booking our stay.
We were extremely happy with how easy the check in process was and how immaculate our room was! Whoever cleaned it prior to our stay did an amazing job!!
We also took advantage of the breakfast provided and were not disappointed there either.
They provided many options and everything was tasty!
All the staff we encountered was very friendly and welcoming.
The hotel is in a good area, not far from the beach and shops/restaurants.
The pool was very nice as well.
Would definitely stay here again in the future!

The hotel is at probably the best possible location on the island, very close to the bridge to the national seashore. No hotel is on the beach at Chincoteague. So this is the closest you can get. You can ride your bike to the seashore right from the hotel. We found the staff at the hotel to be excellent. They will always make you feel welcome with smiles and greetings. The rooms we stayed on two separate visits were both nice, spacious, and clean. Beds are decent. Only weak point is the Wi-fi signal which is almost unusable on the second floor. Breakfast is quite good with plenty of choice but the eating area is really crammed. But you can take the food to the outside seating area or the poolside. The pool is excellent. Check in and checkout was very quick and welcome cookie at check in was a nice touch. We come to Chincoteague almost every year and this is currently our favorite hotel.
