I love this place, my only request is I wish they had bigger refrigerators. Also, the fan in the bathroom room 127 is super loud.

The staff was great everyone was very friendly and accommodating! The cleaning lady was very sweet. The view was spectacular, rooms are a little outdated but still functional. Breakfast was good the little lady helping and cleaning was doing a great job! The only complaint I have is the beds are horrible, very uncomfortable and the pillows are the same way we were quite surprised by how hard and uncomfortable they were typically hotels have amazing beds but I was very stiff and tight after sleeping on the bed felt like sleeping on a hard wood floor.

Wonderful location with ample parking. We booked on short notice and they were very nice and accommodating. The room had a fantastic view. Also, it was quiet and comfortable. I will say the room could benefit from a deep clean. It was clean but there was some dust etc. The staff were very courteous and kind. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and there were many options. It was a pleasant stay and we would stay there again.

The is an unique treasure. It is an older hotel but the cleanest i have ever stayed at!!!! Everything was perfect. They offered room services where other hotels have stopped this totally. It is refreshing to see quality service with a smile. The breakfast was amazing. The views from your room breath taking. Don't pass this place by.....

My wife and I booked a three-night stay here in August 2021 relatively last minute. Overall, Island Resort was a good place to serve as a base camp for our Chincoteague experience. Our third-floor room with a queen-size bed was spacious and comfortable, with excellent views of the sunsets over the bay. The included breakfast was helpful in getting our days started, and parking was a breeze. The hotel itself feels very dated; aesthetically the rooms are not great, but everything was clean and functional. We'd happily stay here again, especially considering the reasonable cost of the hotel.

2 rooms adjoining. 2 adults 3 teens. This was an absolutely beautiful resort! The staff were all excellent! The view is amazing! Rooms were impeccable. Clean, smelled great, plenty of towels, pillows I could go on. The only and I do mean only thing we wished we had in our room (given the fact we have 3 teenagers who are always hungry) was a microwave. Aside from that we will definitely be back!!! Maybe next time leave the kids at home! Lol

Fantastic location in every way possible that each has a great view. Walkable to waterfront and shops and very quiet rooms. Plenty of space in room, we had Queen bed and great view in morning.Wasn't much but now coming back again for sure.

Had a wonderful time especially on a very hot day. Staff was good. Breakfast could be a little more creative. Room was a great view. Enjoyed the thunderstorm coming in.

Island gym is excellent and there are more than enough free weights, benches, squat racks, ab/pull up station, Hammer Strength machines, and more to get and keep yourself in excellent condition from novice to the Hulk. And the gym also includes a very nice indoor pool and it sits on the water with a million+ dollar view. A+ location rt near the bridge into town. I'll Be Back!

The island gym is the best gym I have ever seen anywhere in the country..hands down without any doubt..anyone who wrote a bad review about this place is either a competitor who is jealous..or a lazy wanna be that has nothing better to do but belly ache cause they can't find someone to do the workout for them or just plain RUDE!!..this gym has it all..reggie is the best trainer I have ever been fortunate enough to meet..i got more results in the island gym in 3 months..than any other gym or by training alone in 3 years..the trainer is in on Tuesdays Thursdays and Saturdays and will help u make sure u don't waste your time if u want...it has all the equipment u will ever need..a seperate cardio room with best view of Chincoteague island bay and the bridge causeway that u could ever want..and is still way more affordable than any other place u could find anywhere hands down..the owner will go out of his way to make sure u get as good a workout as u are willing to do..and has a license to train people..if u can't get healthy at island gym on chincoteague Virginia ..then u can't do it anywhere..if u go there once and are serious about getting healthy..U WILL COME BACK..A++++ gym and service!!!..try it once..you'll be back..come work out with us??!!
