I visited beautiful Chincoteague in early April. Bought a 12 oz package of Java Horse Dark Roast coffee beans at this cute shop. Pretty blue foil packaging. There was no expiration/use by/roasted on date on the coffee bag, but I decided to take a chance. When I got home I opened the bag and ground the beans. The coffee had almost no aroma or flavor. The beans were obviously STALE. (I'm not local, or I would have returned it.)

Really enjoyed this cute little place. Wine selection is the best on the island. Beer selection is good, but not as good as the wine. That says more about how fantastic the wine selection is than any beer limitations. The coffee is surprisingly good and usually pretty fresh. The pastries are clearly homemade and delicious. I had the crumb cake and it was one of the best I've ever eaten. Definitely worth a stop whenever you're on the island.

Tried to buy from this store, in-person, twice. First on 9/12//22, and the person behind the counter was on the phone, while I'm standing in front of them holding ciders ready to purchase, and wasn't even acknowledged for several minutes. Left while they were still on the phone, cider-less.Tried again on 9/13/22, this time there wasn't even anyone in the shop. The person running the adjacent gift boutique had to come over and check out a person trying too purchase wine. Left again, cider-less. This store just does not want to sell you anything.Great selection of ciders though. Pitty it's apparently for display or shoplifting only.

My wife and I love their cold brew coffee and crumb cake. We get the coffee with foam. The women working there are friendly and helpful. They also have a large selection of wine and beer. Highly recommended!!

Horrible experience! The woman working was rude and very tonal when ordering our coffee and tea. A group of 4 of us came through to grab some coffee before our 4 hr trip back home and observed a couple ordering in front of us, requesting coffee and we all didn’t realize you don’t pour your own creamer or sugar so she simply asked for creamer and sweetner after receiving her order and was met with incredible rudeness from the employee who said “well you should of asked while I was making it…” and then when the customer requested Splenda she stated “I just don’t know what that is!…I don’t use that stuff bc it’s bad for you!” The customer looked taken aback and calmly said “it’s fine I have some in purse.” We ordered next and it seemed she was overwhelmed from us ordering coffee and pastries (next to the register ready to go) and us requesting cream and sugar to the point I didn’t want any sugar to make it easier. My friend politely requested additional creamer (she’s from Australia where they don’t use creamer in coffee just fyi) and the lady working didn’t even acknowledge her so we walked away until she spouted agitated “who wants creamer??” To break the uneasiness I stated “they don’t use creamer in Australia so it’s new to her..” and was met “OMG I can’t believe that! I would die!!” Repeatedly to the point it was uncomfortable bc she kept commenting on how that was “so weird” and “how do people in Australia even live?!” Our last friend ordered hot tea and when asked what kind he said “just the black tea” she gave him a look of confusion while he paid and then walked over the teas and stared and asked tonally “what tea do you want sir?”, he replied simply “the black tea” she said agitated, “SIR we don’t have that”, I then looked at the menu and pointed at the black tea option and she turned to the menu back to me and pointed saying it was apart of another flavor, the “black and blue flavored teas”, but that wasn’t clearly stated on the menu. Confused, I asked about another black tea flavor option (as my friend is super soft spoken and seemed nervous) on the menu and she rolled her eyes as she began making it…just awful customer service, and she was the rudest with my Asian friend ordering the hot tea and came across generally agitated and incredibly tonal the entire time from the start even to the customers in front of us. Unsure if she was having a bad day but not an excuse to project that on customers. Terrible.

Great little store. Wonderful wine selection and nice assortment of single craft beer and cider. The blueberry crumb cake was outstanding as was the coffee. Definitely worth stopping into this establishment.

Perfect little place to find a unique local wine and spice gift for family as a souvenir for watching our pup. They were very helpful in providing a selection of local sweeter wine. My brother and sister in law loved it! The spice was a fun add-on.

Excellent selection of wine, cheeses, coffee, and other gourmet foods. Prices are reasonable. Stop by now and then to treat myself or find something special for guests.
