Great location but there was an A/C problem that was serviced once but never worked to cool the room properly. Told them again at checkout so they could fix it for the next folks!!

Service was great, rooms were clean. Best part was that they had non dairy milk at breakfast.

You will not sleep due to its poor construction — you can hear people in the next room and upstairs. The insulation is as thin as printer paper. Great views and staff is a hit or miss.
Edit: hard water damaged my hair.

Really nice location on Main Street. Right next to Ropewalk Bar- live & loud music on weekends until midnight. Pool with deck, fishing pier. Decent breakfast included.

This is our absolute favorite spot to stay in Chincoteague. It’s an incredibly convenient location, with clean rooms, a nice pool, and phenomenal views. We generally stay in a bay view room with a deck, which is a must. One time we stayed on the backside and it was pretty unpleasant. On the bay side you also get a view of Ropewalk restaurant which makes for good people watching and you can hear the live music. Also if you stay on the bay side you get to see the sunset from your room and can watch the Hawkeyes at night (super cool planes). Oh, and Captain Barry operating outside the hotel is definitely a hoot to watch. Only downside is that the rooms could use a refresh.

My family of 4 stayed here last month and we were very pleased with this hotel. It's very clean, modern, and right on the water. We loved the large bathroom and there was plenty of space for luggage. My girls really enjoyed being on the water and they loved eating breakfast outside on the deck by the pool and watching all the laughing gulls fly by. The sun set right over the pool and there is a little boardwalk around the building we liked to walk around every night. I was impressed with how clean they kept the area, especially from the bird poop since there are tons of gulls flying around. We had one minor issue with our stay and the hotel manager truly stepped up and provided excellent customer service to us. You can tell this particular hotel is managed extremely well with customer service as their top priority. Really cannot recommend this hotel enough!

This is the best Fairfield Inn i have stayed in. I have stayed in around 50 across the country. The service is awesome, location is great and there is a restaurant 30 ft away.

Unfriendly workers and ridiculous policies. My friend and I planned to stay here but when we went to check in the lady at the desk said that hotel policy requires someone who is at least 21 years old to be staying in the room and present during check in. My buddy I was with is in the U.S. Army and he gave the lady his CAC card, but the lady nastily remarked that they don’t make exceptions for military service members. It was wild to us that they wouldn’t deem someone in the military responsible enough to stay in a hotel room. She also could’ve just been friendlier about the whole thing. I have stayed in many hotels alone, all of which only required me to be at least 18, which makes more sense. Do not give this place your business because evident by this experience they do not care about our military service members and are simply rude and unreasonable.

My wife and I stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites for the long Juneteenth weekend. It’s a nice, modern-looking hotel located on the southern end of the Main Street shopping district. We booked a room with a “marsh” view, which was more of a view of the complex next door so I would recommend upgrading to a “bay” view, particularly for the summer sunsets. The room was large and clean, but I felt the walls were thin since we could hear the conversation next door. The hotel lobby was open and spacious and has the standard complimentary breakfast you find at other Marriott properties. Check in was fine and I had no complaints with the front desk service. A big bonus was the proximity to Ropewalk’s outdoor bar, which was a nice spot for happy hour. I look forward to coming back to the Fairfield Inn & Suites the next time we’re on Chincoteague Island.

Great stay. The room service was great, I never came back to a dirty room or needed any extra towels. Service at the desk was great and they were helpful when I had questions. The hotel itself sits right off the bay on main street.
