The Cottage Barn LLC is a locally owned ice cream shop in a bright, renovated downtown building. It offers an amazing experience with delicious, high-quality ice cream, including many different options and flavors like chocolate and espresso, plus non-dairy and sugar-free choices. The inside is very nice with cute decor, seating areas, and local art. While the food menu is limited, items like the chicken salad are excellent. The staff are wonderful and polite. It is an adorable and accessible place, highly recommended for a stop.

I had the espresso milkshake, it hit the spot. It was so good. The hands scooped ice cream and real milk make these milkshakes worth the trip. I came from the campgrounds in NC just to get this milkshake........and it did NOT disappoint!

Have been coming here for the past 6 years! My personal favorites are peach, cherry vanilla, pumpkin, and brown sugar. I love the homestead ice creams! I have spent a few summers sitting outside enjoying ice cream! When I moved away, I tried so hard to find something similar and never did!
