About The Red Lantern Inn
The Red Lantern Inn is a cute, cozy, and clean gem of an inn with beautiful character and history. Its location is great, just off the highway, very central, and right next to a nice little town and the George Washington & Jefferson National Forest, which is especially beautiful in the fall. The innkeeper and staff are super sweet, friendly, helpful, accommodating, and receptive, making guests feel welcome, at ease, and right at home. Thoughtful personal touches are found throughout the comfortable building. The kitchen is fully stocked and the continental breakfast is great, even offering gluten-free options. The beds are very comfortable. It is a great destination for meeting family or for special events like a wedding weekend, with a fair price. Guests highly recommend it and would love to return.

I had the honor of spending the night at The Red Lantern Inn and it was well worth the visit. Everyone I spoke to that worked there was super receptive and wanted me to feel right at home. The room is comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked and I felt like I was eating at home. I will stay here again if given the opportunity!
