Dr. Athar was very attentive and thorough in his professional and expert opinion. We’ve had experiences in other Banfield locations where we felt like we were being pushed for expensive medical tests/etc even before we saw the doctor. Here, everyone from the front desk, Dorothea and Dr. Athar explained every part of the process thoroughly and gave different options. Definitely recommend this location as your regular go-to for your pets’ health.

I can't say enough good things about Banfield Pet Hospital in Clifton, VA! From the moment I picked up my miniature poodle after a vet visit, I knew he was in the best hands. The staff at Banfield has been exceptional in providing top-notch care for my fur baby. My poodle absolutely adores the staff, and it's evident that the feeling is mutual. Their genuine love and dedication to their furry patients truly shine through in every interaction.Despite the one-hour drive from my home, I consider it well worth the trip to bring my poodle to Banfield in Clifton. The level of care and attention to detail is unparalleled, and the peace of mind knowing my pet is receiving the best care possible is priceless. I highly recommend Banfield in Clifton, VA to any pet owner looking for a dedicated and compassionate team to care for their beloved pets.

I havent been back since Mischa was a puppy and I unfortunately had to switch vets temporarily. I am so glad i did come back. I had 2 recent visits with them and both times have been excellent.Their updates before, during and after each visit have been very welcoming. Considering they are in this area of Centreville, it is really nice to have them at arms reach.Highly recommend.

I wanted an in-room comprehensive because my kitty is afraid to be left. So when I arrived, the comprehensive was technically in room, but they brought my kitty to the back. He was gone for over an hour. I spent over 2 hours in the room waiting for the doctor. I thought this location would be better than others, but clearly I was wrong. I have 6 more months left on my contract, and after that, I will be searching for a different fact.

Worst place ever.Front desk 2 persons Mitch and NikkiIs very kind.This is the reason I gave this place 2 stars.Doctors are awful and heartless.After my sweet baby kitty son Pumba passed away nobody call or send post card.I strongly believe this place killed my beloved baby kitty son.If you like to see your pets healthy and alive please avoid this place!!!!!Waiting time is 2-2.5 hours doesn't matter how many appointments you are going.If you are kind the are going to take 100% advantage of your personality.The are KILLERS!!!!!!!

There are very few really nice vet techs at the Clifton, namely Nicky, who was very kind, sweet to me and my dog. The vets were also communicative and polite. I was satisfied with their services, outside of the few times they wanted to do tooth extraction with my elderly dog. Ummm no, I'm not paying you do high risk surgery so you can make Banfield $$.My biggest problem is the once my dog was put down, the cooperate offices of Banfield told me that they will continue charging me for my wellness plan. I was verbally told that I could cancel my wellness plan after my dog passed when I first signed up (which is "technically true"). BUT they omitted the part where they lock you into a full 12 months of installment in a written contract. So even my dog is dead and I paid thousands of dollars to Banfield out of pocket (outside of their discounts), I still will continue to make payments for the wellness plan. Sneaky and greedy...especially since I just paid $314 to put my dog down and to get him cremated.

They claim to be short staffed, and that is why they can only make appointments for well checks. If your dog/ cat is sick, take them to a hospital. They are partially at fault for my dog dying!

We love Banfield. The 24 hour assistance from a Vet is wonderful. I would say service does very much depend on location as we have had some unpleasant experiences but the staff at the Clifton location are amazing.

Went to Banfield in general several years ago. Based on trying to get back with them it is obvious that the whole company has gone down the drain. No windows to treatment area so high probability of abuse by vet and staff. Of course theyll claim our staff dont do it as everyone says. They do what they want jugular or leg bloodwork regardless of patient's owner preferences.

Everyone is so nice and makes you feel like they really care about your animals. They helped us with the loss of our 15 year old dog and currently help us take care of our two cats and puppy. Dr. Moradian is great.

Everyone at this office is incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional. Niki, Rosie and Dr. Moradian have been superstars with my puppy, Callie. Niki is always upbeat and cheerful when answering the phone and in person. Both Niki and Rosie are incredibly reassuring. I always know Callie is in good hands with Rosie and Dr. Moradian. I have a banfield closer to my home in Woodbridge, but this is the only office I've been to that truly treats my girl like their own family.
