Their glasses are bad, 3 days after purchase they broke, their prices are expensive, and their treatment of customers is bad. I will not buy from them again.

Hello, I’ve never written feedback before, and this is my first time. I know it’s a bit long, but please read it.I just had a troubling experience at New Eye Era Eyecare in Clifton. I had a 12 pm appointment today, January 5, 2024. I called at 11:45 am to inform them I might be 5 minutes late, and the front desk lady, Kelly, stated that if I'm more than 7 minutes late, I'd need to reschedule. Despite this, I arrived at 12:04 pm.Upon entering the office, the front desk lady demanded my ID and insurance card without a smile or greeting. Later, she asked me to fill a form, and when I requested assistance due to not having my glasses, she refused. Despite no other patients waiting, Kelly insisted, "No, I can't help you."When I inquired about her day, she responded affirmatively. The store manager, Tina Chanthakhonne, intervened, questioning the issue. I explained my need for form assistance, expressing reluctance to reschedule. Tina, however, stated everyone knows they need to fill out forms and why don’t you bringing your glasses.I posed a scenario about people without glasses seeking help, to which Tina insisted everyone knows to fill out forms at a doctor's office. Feeling racist! what if people from other countries and they do not know like me. Tina, as the store manager, offered no help, canceled my appointment, and declared, "You will no longer be our patient."This was a profoundly distressing experience for me.

I did not like the service here. The optometrist prescribed a low cost contact lenses brand that simply did not fit my needs. I acquired about wanting a pair of glasses, but the staff did not offer me a chance to look at or try on any glasses.

VERY UNPOFESSIONAL . I VISITED YOUR CLIFTON LOCATION O AUG.2022 AND RECIEVED A BILL LAST WEEK. I HAD PAID MY CO-PAY AT THE TIME OF THE SERVICE.

I went into the eye care center this morning Monday 3/27, for just a new nose piece, and a glasses frame adjustment and a employee gentleman there Caesar was very helpful very professional and made an adjustment probably two or three times to make sure my glasses were perfect. You don't see many employees take the time in businesses today 2023 to give that kind of service and care. Kudos and 10++ plus props for CAESAR.Thank You !! ??Dr. Adair has outstanding Employees!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Adair for many, many years (even prior to him opening his own practice at New Era in Clifton when he was practicing at Pearl Vision in Fairfax). He is a phenomenal doctor! I have always been impressed with his professionalism, excellent personal care, his positive and caring demeanor and the time and attention he gives me during my visits. He always treats me as if I am his only patient of the day as he asks about my family, enquires about my job, we swap vacation and family stories and he always takes his time explaining everything to me about me eye health after my exam. He is easy to talk to, through in his exam and I always leave feeling great about my experience. I look forward to my annual check-ups and don't mind driving the extra distance to be one of his patients because he is one of the best around! I have ordered glasses from New Era several times and have always had an excellent experience with Dr. Adair's staff. I have recommended Dr. Adair and New Era Eyecare to friends, family and co-workers and will continue to do so. He is 5+ stars in my book!

Dr. Adair is amazing. He diagnosed a problem with my son's eyes when 2 other doctors gave the wrong diagnosis, and he goes above and beyond to make sure my whole family gets the best prescription for both contacts and glasses.

Dr Adair is super wonderful. Our whole family has been seeing him for 7years and love our experience with him. He’s friendly, very knowledgeable and always pleasant and professional.BUT, the front desk staff and the person who sells the glasses are just plain grumpy. It’s very obvious they don’t want to be there and any customer is just an annoyance to them.

Dr. Tofigh was such a calm, attentive provider and the front desk staff was lovely and helpful both times I had to call or go back for help later. Excellent experience, I will continue going here and recommend to others!

I visited this practice for the first time when I needed an annual eye exam and glasses. Contacting the office and making an appointment was quite straightforward, and I had an appointment scheduled for an afternoon just a few days after my call.After arriving early to complete new patient forms, a staff member started my diagnostics on their machines five minutes after my scheduled appointment time. The various screenings were all conveniently handled in one sitting lasting about ten minutes. I ended up waiting for another 15-20 minutes for Dr Ton, and her demeanor and knowledge were certainly worth the wait. I appreciated her addressing eye-related and wellness topics with me as well as age-related cautions about good eye care. Like other reviews, my exam was thorough and used the information in the diagnostics to comprehensively assess my eye health. I recommend getting the extra test that maps the vessels and the back of the eye even with the extra charge which was told to me prior to getting the test. Dr Ton double checked my prescription, and I appreciated her professionalism in doing so.Getting my pairs of glasses was also relatively straightforward. The selection of frames can be a little confusing, but the staff person explained what section costs what and what small differences separate similar looking frames. The options for the lenses were discussed and recommended for one pair over another as well as the cost for different option groupings. The staff seem to have a fair grasp of what insurance will pay and what they will not. Overall I suppose my materials were priced appropriately for the area with some consideration for buying more than one pair at my visit.I was told the glasses would be ready within a week to ten days, and when I did not receive a call after two weeks I called to inquire. At first I was told I needed to wait a week or so more since my glasses were at a lab. Later that same day I got another call saying my glasses were ready for pickup, so that was a confusing sequence of events and the only not-so-great experience here. I picked up my glasses a couple of days later with everything being in order.I think I could certainly continue with this practice and optical center. Other online reviews highlight the quality of the doctors, and based on my experience I readily agree. My optical center experience went well too. Some staff members seem eager to help and others seem more business-like. All in all though I can see why this location has the positive online feedback it receives.

I visited New Era Eyecare because it is convenient super close to my home. It was the best decision. The staff is quality. They make you feel welcome from the start, they are gentle, respectful, and they work very well together. The place is clean and inviting. The doctor was professional and explained every step. Call and make an appointment- is a great place!
