“Very convenient, across from GMU and near Burke and Fairfax. I love that you can get gas, hit up the grocery store, grab a cup of coffee, sit down for lunch, and then go see a movie all in the same shopping center.”
“We stopped by two spots in Sully Place that’s set up like an Asian marketplace, with multiple food vendors all under one roof, and it ended up being such a great experience. There’s something exciting about having so many options around you, it feels casual, lively, and perfect for trying different things without committing to just one restaurant.
We ordered a salad that completely surprised us. It had some of the best textures I’ve had in a while, crunchy, fresh, and layered in a way that kept every bite interesting. The combination of flavors was thoughtful and balanced, not overly dressed or heavy, just really well put together. It’s the kind of salad that doesn’t feel like an afterthought but stands on its own as something memorable.
We also had a fluffy egg sandwich that was equally impressive. The eggs were soft and light, paired with bread that complemented them perfectly without overpowering the simplicity of the sandwich. It felt comforting but still elevated.
Overall, the marketplace vibe, variety of food options, and quality of what we tried made this spot feel like a hidden gem. It’s a great place to explore, share dishes, and enjoy food that’s clearly made with care.”
“Great shop! Sooooo many items… it’s really an experience so plan to take time to look around. Small dining area in back with great food options for dine in or take out!”

“I appreciate that Giant grocery stores have a "Natural" food section. That way I know I just have to go to 1 aisle to find all of the "healthy" foods. Of course, they could probably do better job of not marketing poisonous overly processed sugar foods to young children but I'll take what I can get :)”

“Great atmosphere and very friendly people! Like seriously, the owner and instructors at this place have to be some of the most welcoming and nicest bunch of people that I’ve ever met.I tried their free 3-day yoga pass and enjoyed it. However, I will say that this studio places (or seems to place) a heavy emphasis on spirituality vs. yoga as a form of exercise/fitness. As someone who’s loosely spiritually, at most, it was a nice thing to experience, but was a bit too much for me personally. So if you’re like me, and enjoy meditative practice in your yoga sessions but want the focus to be on fitness/balances/cardio, this might not be for you either. I also found myself wishing that they had more class offerings throughout the week, but they are a small privately owned studio, so I get it. Overall, I would very much recommend this place to anyone looking to really incorporate their inner spirituality into their yoga practice. Namaste!”
“Crossroads Retail offers a unique shopping experience with its collection of boutique-style stores. The curated selection of shops provides a refreshing departure from traditional shopping centers. The emphasis on independent and specialty retailers adds to the charm of the place. Navigating the smaller layout is easy, allowing for a relaxed and enjoyable shopping trip. The cozy atmosphere and personalized service from store owners create a welcoming environment. However, due to its smaller size, the variety of options might not be as extensive as in larger malls. If you're looking for a more intimate and distinctive shopping experience, Crossroads Retail is a hidden gem worth exploring.”
“Fairfax Corner is a nice place to spend a few hours. There are several restaurants, fast foods, stores, and some local businesses around the area. Parking inside the main plaza is limited, but don’t worry—just a couple hundred yards away you can always find plenty of free parking. The area is clean, safe, and good for a walk or to just hang out.”
“Vienna Shopping Center is a well-established retail hub located on Maple Avenue in the heart of Vienna, Virginia. It offers a diverse mix of dining, retail, health, and service-oriented businesses that cater to the everyday needs of the local community. Whether you’re looking to grab a bite, run errands, or get in a quick workout, this center delivers with convenience and charm.
The dining options here are surprisingly varied and high quality. You’ll find crowd favorites like Taco Bamba, known for its bold and creative tacos, and MOD Pizza, where you can build your own personal pizza in minutes. Panera Bread remains a go-to for coffee, bakery items, and casual meetings, while Foster’s Grille serves up juicy burgers and wings in a laid-back setting. For international flavors, Don Pollo offers flavorful Peruvian rotisserie chicken, and Maru Korean Cuisine & Sushi brings both Korean BBQ and fresh sushi to the table. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, Ben & Jerry’s and TeaDM provide dessert and drink options that are both fun and satisfying.
Beyond food, the center is packed with practical businesses.
The one drawback to Vienna Shopping Center is parking. The lot can feel cramped, especially during peak lunch or dinner times, and navigating through it takes a bit of patience. Maple Avenue also tends to get congested during rush hours, which can make entering or exiting the center slightly frustrating.
Despite the parking issues, Vienna Shopping Center remains a convenient and community-friendly place with something for everyone. Its thoughtful mix of eateries, practical services, and wellness options makes it a favorite local destination that reflects the charm and diversity of Vienna itself.”

“Rolling Valley Strip Mall in Burke is more than just a place to shop; it's a convenient community hub with a great mix of businesses that cater to a variety of needs. I've had many positive experiences there, and it's become one of my go-to spots in the area.
One of the highlights of Rolling Valley is definitely the diverse selection of eateries. Little Cow is a standout, and Tous Les Jours is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. I've enjoyed many delicious meals and treats at these places. And now there is also Roaming Rooster!
Beyond the food scene, Rolling Valley offers a lot more. It's great to have an urgent care center in the area, and the presence of a well-equipped gym makes it easy to fit in a workout. For everyday needs, Lidl, Ross, and the Dollar Store are incredibly convenient.
What I like most about Rolling Valley Strip Mall is how it combines everyday necessities with enjoyable experiences. You can grab groceries, take care of your health, find a bargain, and enjoy a delicious meal, all in one place. It's a testament to how a well-planned strip mall can serve as a valuable asset to the community.”

“Great place to stop in and grab whatever you’re looking for. Lots of diverse shops options that are tough to find anywhere else. Plenty of room to park (trucks included). Everyone and everywhere I stopped was friendly and helpful. Clean and well kept overall. Highly recommend shopping in the area!”
“I only bought deli sliced roast beef, but the price was better than I thought it would be. The staff was pleasant and helpful - including Trail at the deli counter.”
“Visited this Plaza recently. There's plenty of parking, handicap parking, the stores are on the main level and are handicapped accessible. There are some restaurants and a hair salon and a grocery store and other medical establishments and I believe a bank. There are multiple ways into the plaza property and out. The grounds are very well kept up and cleaned for visitors to the property.”
“Several good restaurants, all open for carryout at least. Plenty of parking these days with several stores closed or restricted. A fairly nice strip shopping center.”
“Best Korean BBQ establishment I've ever been to. I will repeat this location again and again. It is a nice, all you can eat, upscale dining with an AMAZING STAFF!!!! Our waiter Aiden was always around and always available. He was like a waiter ninja. My wife originally wanted to cook the food ourselves, but Aiden was readily available and realized we were out of our element. With out missing a beat, came in and was giving us little tips about cooking the different meats. We changed our sign to waiter cook food, not us...lol The food was amazing. Superb! Everything is made in house. The cocktails are great. You must try thier signature cocktails and the Sake. I can ramble on about this place all day and night but honestly, you just have to experience it yourself.”
“This mall is buzzing with energy and feels very much alive. Nearly every storefront is occupied, giving it a vibrant, thriving atmosphere rather than that empty, abandoned feel you sometimes see. There’s an impressive variety of shops to explore, from well-known brands to unique specialty stores, making browsing genuinely enjoyable.
Food options are just as appealing — whether you’re looking for a quick snack, a casual meal, or something more indulgent, there’s plenty to satisfy every craving. The layout makes it easy to wander between stores and eateries without feeling rushed or cramped.
Spending time here was genuinely rewarding. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy both shopping and dining, all in one convenient, lively environment. We left feeling satisfied and impressed, glad we carved out time to explore everything it had to offer.”
“This well-maintained small shopping plaza on Union Mills Rd in Clifton features a variety of shops, restaurants, and a Giant Supermarket. The shops are conveniently positioned around a parking lot, offering a convenient and accessible shopping experience for residents and the wider community.”
