Service was great, however food was terrible. Had to send back the crab dip app cuz it was so bad. The entrees were also terrible. Insane to be charging the prices they do for subpar food. The only thing they have going for them is the location honestly.

The food is superb. Service was slow and inattentive, though charming - even though there were few guests. Atmosphere is quite good. I highly recommend!

*Drink Review Only*A friend and I decided to get some afternoon drinks and lunge for a bit, so Trummer's was our pick. Having been here before, for both their amazing drinks and food, I was surprised I forgot to give this one a review. The Drinks: I went with the "Titanic" and the "Pain & Pleasure" for my drinks. The Titanic is the special cocktail which has a incredible flavors that hit just right. The alcohol was mixed very well as it wasn't over bearing at all. The Pain & Pleasure would have to be my favorite though. The nice and fruity flavor with a slight kick to keep your pallet in check is just perfect. The Service: Service was great! The staff here are all so friendly and welcoming. Water refills were on point and frequent check ups were done as well. The Atmosphere: Two floors, a lively bar downstairs and a very nice and elegant upstairs dining area. The vibes are relaxed and would 100% make a good date spot. Dim lights with an open/spacious elegant dining area calls for a nice intimate night out.Overall, a 5/5! Everything about Trummer's is amazing. From the ambience to the food/drinks, you can't go wrong with this place. Highly recommend visiting Trummer's if you get the chance.

Delicious food, beautifully served. Server was very available and attentive. Upstairs dining was too loud on the Sat. night we dined there, so I'll go back on a weekday night in the hope the crowd will be thinner.

This was a great discovery for me in the DC area thanks to an invite from a friend. I hadn't been to Clifton before and was pleasantly surprised by the historic nature of this location. We were a group of 6 and that restaurant is good for groups too. The decor and furniture is top class and service is excellent.Food was very tasty. I enjoyed eating my Crispy Shrimp Po' Boy and tasted the Wiener Schnitzel which I will order the next time I am here. Appetizers like the truffle fries, baked brie, mouth melting corn bread and more. The location is like an oasis in the hustle and bustle of the Washington DC area. The prices are very reasonable and this restaurant is exceedingly great for value. I would highly recommend a visit even if you were driving from Rockville, MD like I did.

Pricey, but worth it. Great for special occasions. Portions are the right amount. You won't walk out with a doggy bag.

As always ALL the choices were either excellent or exceptional. Nothing (and that includes all the appetizers and multiple entrees/sandwiches) was poorly done. There were five grizzled foodies at this and no one had a bad thing to say. Again, the service was beyond compare. And the price for all the food we had was incredibly reasonable. My wife and I have been here over 100 times and never once regretted it - and in fact -recommend Trummers as our favorite restaurant of all time.

Beyond exceeded my expectation from the moment we were greeted on the way in. We decided to order an array of appetizers and the food was exquisite especially the bone marrow. The chef came out to check on us and the rest of the customers; this attention to detail has not been overlooked! The sound of the old railroad passing through gave it the cherry on top ambiance of the elegant yet cozy town. I can’t say enough about the experience tonight⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sadly not worth it. Trummer's has been on my must dine list and tonight was disappointing. There were highlights: the brioche, the brussels, the verrine. And there were some big misses, serving my husband the overdone end of the ribeye when he ordered 16oz, a watery cocktail, okay service (mostly due to bus staff, lack of plates/utensils, our main server was good). Ultimately not what I expected of a restaurant with Trummer's reputation and price point.

The food was very good and the service was excellent. I only wish it was quieter. In particular, the music was quite loud, and the type of music being played was something more for a bar, not a restaurant I would consider a fine dining location.

Enjoyed a nice evening meal. This is one of the places we normally reserved for celebration. Had not been here in a couple of years and saw a few changes. It seems a lot less formal and we noticed the clientele weren't as dressed up as we remembered. The quality of meal was still top shelf.

The ambiance of the restaurant is very cool, from the bar downstairs to the main dining room upstairs. Food was balanced and deliberate, and everything was incredibly well cooked. Will absolutely being going back very soon!

Always an eclectic menu. Not your normal restaurant. Yes, it's expensive but it's worth it. Quality food prepared and served uniquely in portions that fit a normal diet. You probably won't need a take home bag, but you will be full. Great wine and beer selection too.

We really enjoyed our event. However, with it being an early reservation and it was for a birthday, that they were aware of, the table wasn't all that special, when there were a plethora of nicer tables that we could've been sat. Other than that, it was great.
