Everyone at this Bank is always so friendly, kind, and encouraging. The inside tellers are excellent, extremely respectful, helpful, and always smiling. The people that work at this Bank entirely help make each Client/Customer feel welcomed and at home.YEARS ago alot of the same people that worked at this bank when I was a teenager, well alot of those people still work there. Therefore, that has to speak alot for itself!♡Juerlene, Patty,Jibber, Johnny (I think) and Marsha♡◇Coeburn Virginia's Miner's Exchange Bank◇, beside Long John Silver's is my #01 CHOICE☆?

Be careful doing anything at this bank. They put fees on things that they don’t tell you about until it’s too late. They didn’t tell us about 4K in fees until the paperwork was already signed, and no it was not for lack of reading.

Every month I cash my tiny $22 check. I don't have a bank account with them but they're the issuing bank. Just tried doing so and at first, I'm asked to sign my name more legible... Now either i should sign or should I PRINT my name? In comparison to my license, I have to sign- right? Anyhow, I sign yet again and then am handed a paper to fill out, having to disclose my most personal information. I don't feel it's really warranted and more of just someone being overly zealous. I get It- I'm not related to anyone and to top it off, I'm very slender. Red flags. But please trust and believe- if I was some criminal, i wouldn't be trying to get the same check of $22 that I cash EVERY month, cashed. Why have I never before had to do this with even larger amounts? You guys will have to start comprehending that a signature is just that- a signature. It doesn't have to be totally legible for people to recognize every letter, it's not supposed to be someone's name in cursive and if I was to just SPELL my name to endorse the check, it would not be my signature. Google will help clarify this, I'm sure. As long as it matches the SIGNATURE on my license, that, by the way, states the same name that's printed on the check, there shouldn't be an issue about whether you personally agree with my signature. Sad that this came from someone even older than myself. I learned this in grade school many, many moons before and have used this same signature for nearly 4 decades without an issue. No- this was not clearly just a matter of policy if this has been the first time I've had an issue cashing my check in over a year of using this same bank. I'm old and wise enough to know better.Fine, you got me to fill out all my most personal information using my steering wheel as a table. I know " policy" was an excuse for being stereotyped and judged as sketchy. Again, trust and believe- it takes a dummy to think anyone would risk doing time for just $22 with you guys already having all the important information as to where to find me on that check and my license. Any other super cautious bank teller would have thumbprints me.

Poor business conduction. When a call is made to someone at the bank regarding a payment, I would assume that person is to call you back. No call back, then threaten when nobody hears back from that said person. There was a call made. This wouldn't be their first mistake made.
