Worst experience ever, I rented a car for 7 days. I personally vacuum and wash the vehicle yesterday to returned in a better condition than received. Now they saying that I have to come back to clean the vehicle again even though I live three hours away from their location or they’ll charge me $200. Stay away from this place is the biggest Tripp off. Hertz should be ashamed to have these employees under their name brand.

I called last minute to see if they had a rental bc I had to put my car in the shop. I first called a few different enterprise locations and they didn’t have anything available so I called Hertz. Luckily Hertz came through and I was able to pick up a rental within the next couple of hours. The associate that assisted me as Pam, she was friendly and quick with the process.

The worst, cars you rented not available. Then was told I could go to another hertz to do an exchange. Got to the next location and they did want to give me the car. Because they had an appointment time for 12pm and it was 3 pm and no arrival so they was saving it still.

Absolute horrible service when I called about my Lyft rental through this location. The rep I spoke with was Pam. I'm not sure if she had an equal horrible day but the lack of customer service was dreadful. This is coming from a customer service rep that has handled a high volume contact center. There is no need to be unprofessional to someone who actually gets it! Please do better!

After being over charged from the Midlothian location I tried to call serval times and never could get anyone to answer (from their reviews, that sounds like most people’s experience). The day I picked up my rental there was a lady named Keondra that normally didn’t work at that location but was helping them out that day. She was so nice, thorough, and super professional. I remembered she said she worked at this location (colonial heights) so I tried calling them about it. I spoke with Pam and was able to talk to Keondra as well. They worked together to get the charges removed and everything straightened out. So thankful for their customer service!

Not a good customer service, called for reserved vehicle inquiry, not a satisfactory answer, keep putting on hold. they never called back to check if vehicle being picked up.

This location is the absolute worst. They never have any vehicles. I have booked a reservation there on three separate occasions and I have received a phone call the DAY OF my reservation, 2-3 hours before scheduled pick up time letting me know they do not have any vehicles. This continues to cause a huge inconvenience with no resolution. All reservations have been made at least 4 days in advance and still no heads up until a couple of hours before. Do not waste your time, book a reservation elsewhere!

Worst location. Made a reservation online and they called me 2 minutes before my reservation start time to tell me they have literally zero cars. How is that possible?!?? Never again renting with hertz! Lost a customer for life.

I asked for a truck was not given one went at location reservation was paid in advance on Thursday before that Tuesday to pick up. Was called 15 minutes before 8 am to be told that their were no trucks available sat in office for almost 1 hour before contract was official asked for the Chrysler Van was told NO! In placement because of "No truck was available" While sitting in office over heard the employee tell another customer that trucks were available at that location. I was told I'd have to go back home and wait half the day for one to be brought to the office and that i would have to go to Richmond to pick it up. I felt as if that employee was trying to take my money that I already paid for a reservation. I also had a witness that can prove I was racially profiled because of this instance. Returned late because I was given a Chevy Equinox that I had to make 4 trips and only had 24 hours to do that which when I returned I was very tired. Car was very lightly dirty because of the location I was helping to move items had grass and a whole lot of it. I went to return only to be told one price was $400 than that same cleaning fee another employee told me it was $200. I am super disappointed and dissatisfied about how I was treated as a AAA customer too this is wrong to the core. I hope Hertz Corp can fix this issue in the near future because I was solely upset about how I was treated as if I felt like I wasn't a person at all. The tone of voice the employee I'm referring to was not very nice at all. I called Hertz Corp and reported this issue as well as an ongoing investigation is open because of this matter.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Agent was dismissive and did not listen to my request, or even attempt to answer my questions. Just told me to go look outside and book online.

I reserved rentAl on day of pick up no car available. Was told come back 2 days later.On day I returned was given chevy malibu.Next day check engine light on had to waste time at pep boys to get it checked.Next week transmission goes out. I returned car picked up too small kia forte.On july 17 2023 I returned rental was threatened to get charged cleaning feeFor very little dirt from my shoe on carpetMissing floor mats. And had do report for pee existing damage not caused by me.Was told there be no charges cause I purchased insurance. Did not get deposit refunded and trying yo placed addititionalFraudulent Charges on my credit card. For day I returned car before open for business.

Keondra & Pam was very nice and pleasant. The car was very smooth, never knew it was on at all. Had a Camry (Hybrid). Just wish my Satellite was working but other than that I had a really good experience

A gas charged was place on the rental by mistake. When I notice the charge on my account call the location was told I was approve to have it remove and the money place back on my card. Been over a month and still waiting. So decide to call customer service to be told it was not in the system so had redo the process for my money to put back on my account. Don’t think it was an accident now and don’t think it was going to be put back on my account if I didn’t do my due diligence. Do not believe anything this location states they are just trying to get you off the phone and out there hair. I will be talking to a supervisor on this location to have investigated.
