Awful place to shop. It was poor customer service, I was also accused of trying to steal. They was watching me and my son in every isle, I felt very uncomfortable.

I had the BEST customer service experience recently ! Incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and helpful color-expert angle ! I haven’t colored my hair in years and she definitely pointed me in the right direction and made sure I got the right products. I would have gone too dark and she steered me right !

On 8/17/22 Had a bad customer service experience. I asked for recommendations on things for curly hair and got nothing back but a hard stare and told to take care of it better. I won’t be going back to this location.

I got 3 clippers from them 1st(designers) over heated not everything was in the box,2nd pair (designers) over heated but everything was in the box ,3rd (cordless magic clippers) not everything was in the box and the white box had magic clip written in blue market on the side as if they were already used and the charger did not work. I spoke to a manager she said the first manager should not have exchanged the first 2 designers for me because of store policy and for the magic clippers she told me to call wahl myself and get my items fixed or replaced however she had a very nasty attitude about it and wouldn’t even give me corporates number . I will no longer be shopping at that location I have went to many Sally’s and they all were great except this one. They need new manager and everyone needs to know the policies because being told they can exchange 2 pairs of clippers and the last one they can’t exchange or get me a new charger was ridiculous. Seems like they were giving used clippers to different customers knowing they were defective but who knows someone needs to investigate this location

Everytime I come to this location I am disappointed. How does a store in a predominantly African American demographic not have braiding hair. The selection of braiding hair was already terrible being that they only had certain colors and lengths and textures. If it's a company wide thing Sally's needs to do better. I am disappointed as a consumer as well as a share holder

I stepped inside Sally yesterday 7/3/21. I had to speak 1st. Cashier there. No customers at register. I stood 2 steps from front door for a good 30 secs trying to decide which isle the products i needed could be on. DO YOU THINK SHE (turned out to be the manager) ASKED, "Ma'am may i hep you find something"? NO, SHE DID NOT. Been a loyal customer for ~10 years - Z (part-time employee from Hampton Rds will tell confirm) Manager Stacy barely spoke, no smile, no enthusiasm, no warmth. I mentioned this, and asked her name. She refused to tell me her name so the sweet mature (older) Afric Amer more employee stated it. Manager needs to be replaced. She then tried to blame on a throat problem, but it was an excuse bc it has nothing to do with not smiling, waving, etc. Her vibe was cold. If she is too sick to practice excellent customer service as required by SALLY INC, then StAY HOME! If leadership can't exhibit decent customer service, the newer employees will soon follow.

5/13/21: I stopped by to exchange some polish that I got for Mother's Day. The cashier did not speak when I walked in. She had an ugly look on her face like she was ready to go home & it was early afternoon. I spoke to her anyway. I looked around. The store was pretty tidy. There weren't many bright polish colors available, so I picked the 2 brightest ones I could find. I picked up a few more things for my hair & went to checkout. Again, I was met with the cashier who hates life. It was a painful transaction, but I kept it together long enough to pay & get my things out the door. Masks were required. The store is small, so social distancing isn't always possible in certain aisles. The floors are marked for social distancing though. They did not carry the main hair product I went there for, and I was shocked to see that they keep a lot of popular hair products behind the cash register. I guess the mean lady is more like their guard dog. She did a good job scaring people off! Well done! Anyway, I will go back if I'm desperate. Other than that, I will find my items online or go to a different Sally's. People like that truly drain the bubbliness out of people like me. Please go work AWAY from customers.

I wish I could give no stars. The customer service at this location is horrendous!! The “welcome to Sally’s” greeting is so insincere. This is the only store that carry my hair products and I dread going. I’d rather order online and pay shipping, before I tolerate the unprofessional staff here.

The cashier wasn't very friendly at all. And since when do I have to buy a bag for 15 cents for the products that I bought to be put in. That's ridiculous. And they have plastic over the pin pad for debit cards that is worn out and she didn't even clean it before I used it. What's the use of the plastic then. Better service from other places.
