Long lines, can't get all your medicine all at once, takes 30 mins to get pharmacy on phone, it's dirty, rude employees, it's too busy, it's not a place you want to rely on for good customer service, it's just too big to fail, long lines in drive through, overworked staff, under staffed, not patient friendly, it's a horrible experience Everytime and they do not care if you have to wait or they make a mistake, it's pathetic, I'm not sure how they are allowed to be open

The pharmacy here does a better job than most in the local area. I especially appreciate the helpful and professional staff, though it often looks like they need more of them.Scarcity of staff and medication stock is the status quo for all pharmacies in Petersburg and Colonial Heights. Under these conditions, this Walgreens does quite well thanks to the effort of the employees. If they had more staff, I'd give them 5 stars.

Worst pharmacy I've dealt with. They never answer the phone. The gentleman working there is rude and unprofessional. He told me if I didn't like the way they did things to take my business elsewhere.

This Walgreens has the worst customer service I have ever seen. Always problems with the Pharmacy dept. sign said No pharmacy on duty please check other Walgreens or ask store associate, they were awful even the store manager. Didn’t even try to investigate what I was saying. My prescription has been changed to another store. No more Walgreens!

We have been getting family prescriptions at this store for years. In the last few years it has become increasingly more difficult to do so. Regularly they do not fill prescriptions accurately or in a timely manner. They refuse to contact my doctor in any other fashion accept by fax which can take days when a refill is required. All the while, I am never notified by the store of what is going on or that the order is not ready so I drive the 30 minutes over here only to find that it was a wasted trip. I realize that good employees are hard to find these days but some common customer service and adequate notification would go a long way.

Pharmacy located inside and has a drive thru available if you are unable to mgo inside. Overall a good location to get your healthcare and beauty needs in a minimum amount of time and the employees are friendly

Day-to-day, hustle and bustle stopped me in my tracks tonight. Scrambling through my wristlet looking for my credit card to make a purchase I left my cell phone on the counter. I got half way down the road before I realized it. Frantically searching my bags and my car I prayed the whole way back to the store that the clerk picked it up and turned it in. I walked back in and waited for him to finish with a customer before I almost cried when I asked if I had left my cell phone; he pulled his mask down and smiled and said go over to the photo counter and I will let them know you are here. I could have jumped over the counter and hugged him. Thankful, grateful, blessed this man saved the day and a lot of heartache it would have caused me as some things are irreplaceable.

Went through the drive thru this morning to pick up my rx and the tech lost my debit card, then proceeded to argue with me, insisting I did not hand it to her, so I had no way to pay for my rx until she realized she dropped it on the floor. They also CONTINUOUSLY fill my rx under my insurance instead of the good rx I have on file every month, even though I remind them to use good rx when I drop off my rxs, every month. Very fed up with all of the local Walgreens in this area.

They have been super helpful! I have been able to tell them what OTC stuff I need and get it at the drive through since I have had COVID. They have also billed my insurance for the at home tests so I didn't have to worry about reimbursements. Publix refused to do this.

Thank you Robert for helping me in a dire situation today. You went out of your way to help me get my husband's medication when it was not pre-authorized by my insurance. You took the time to call around to find a substitute where I could get his medications at a better cost. Thank you for being so sympathetic and understanding when I was so upset. I was able to get his medication and hopefully he will be on his road to recovery thanks to you.

THE WORST Walgreens in the area. The people in the pharmacy are extremely rude, they will leave you on hold for 30+ minutes over the phone then just hang up on you. It makes no sense. I wouldn’t waste my time with this place

Felt really discouraged here. Was getting my 2nd dose of Pfizer and the girl at the counter was super rude. Had me fill out paper work just to ask me what my name was again and then tell me it'll be 20mins on top of the 35mins I waited. She had my name on the paper in front of her. Also had the privilege of hearing her talking abt me and how long I wanted and that I must really want the shot. Pretty sure it was just cause I'm white and getting the vaccine like b**** I just want to travel. Anyway really don't recommend this location & this is my first review on anything.
