“I had opened a Citibank account with Jenny over a decade ago and totally forgot that I had this account. I had recently moved and failed to update the address on the Citibank account. Due to inactivity, my checking account which had over $4K was closed as abandoned property and funds were transferred to the State. I was provided information to claim with NYS abandon property. Just to confirm if this is the case, I immediately contacted Jenny who found out that the funds were still with Citibank.
