I like my local Food Lion. The staff is always nice. The store is clean, and they keep everything stocked.

workers are super nice but if you are looking for a cheap red velvet cake after being on your period for a week and craving it for days don’t get one from here because it’s drier than any cake i’ve ever had before. icing isn’t any better.. cake is hard as a brick. i’m sorry but im so depressed right now and i really thought this cake would soothe the deranged thoughts inside of my head. it did not. i was planning on facetiming my friends and doing a mukbang to show them i had finally got my cake after going through so much this past month. but no. the first bite i took of this thing i immediately began to cry realizing the joy of eating this cake was quickly replaced with anger, disappointment, and sadness. i am so sad. really sad.

I would give this food lion 5 stars if not for the lack of customer service and product availability in deli area. 5 o’clock in the evening I ask when any more fried chicken is being made and I’m told no more cooking will be done tonight. First of all it’s 5 in the evening. Second of all this is the 3rd time in a couple of months I have been here at a reasonable time and the deli does not have the sale items that are advertised. Plenty of rotisserie chickens but no fried chicken. Lady was just real short with me and it’s not the first time hence the reason I’m leaving this review. If I cant come here at 5 o’clock to get the sale items that are advertised when would be a good time to ? Who knows.
