Laundry in Covington, VA

“This was the best laundromat I've ever used. On Thanksgiving day, I found the need to help someone with no means to laundry facilities. The first laundromat was closed, but Kam's Kleeners was open for business as regularly scheduled business hours, regardless of the holiday. I arrived prepared with over $20.00 worth of quarters, but as I was using the extra large washers, I quickly ran out of quarters. I had not planned to go laundromatting on Thanksgiving, so I was fresh out of quarters, and had also left my cash and credit cards at home that day. Fortunately, Kam's has a reloadable card that can be purchased at an ATM type machine inside the laundromat. As a bonus, the machine accepts Google pay from a cell phone!!! Happy Day!!! After purchasing a wash card which I pre-loaded with $10.00 I completed my laundry mission and was on my way! Another thing I think was nice was the fact that time on the dryers could be purchased for $.25 per increment of minutes. (Time varied by dryer size)
There were also massage chairs in the end of the laundromat for those achy shoulders from standing leaned over a table for too long folding clothes.
The only thing I would suggest is a vending machine. Kam's Kleeners was the first laundromat I've ever been in without a vending machine! I mean, if we're going to use the re-loadable card for the laundry, we need something to waste our quarters on!”

“A little cramped, as in if some one is unloading washer you have to walk all the way around to get to other side of them. Other than that not bad, decently Clean; and could use more seating. Not a bad experience.”
