Cool place, awesome view and very quiet. Property manager was quick to respond and easy to contact after we got hung up and arrived late. Will stay again. Cool waterfall and covered bridge nearby.

Jen and the team at Cliff View are absolutely amazing. We stayed here for our annual golf trip, and they made everything so easy and stress-free. The inn itself is beautiful—comfy beds, stunning views, and a peaceful atmosphere that made it hard to leave. The golf course was both fun and challenging, adding the perfect touch to our trip. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and enjoyable. Cliff View is truly a hidden gem, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

The area is very beautiful. The inn is run more like a bnb where there’s not an attendant there 24/7, or an official check in/out process.
We had some minor issues with our room. The door lock wasn’t working (which was fixed promptly when we called), the tv remote had dead batteries, and the shower temperature control was either freezing or scolding hot. It almost seemed the room wasn’t open for a while or they forgot to prep it properly.
The shared kitchen is very nice and the porch was relaxing. Other than those room issues, I’d recommend

Great stay for our family event! Only a few considerations being an older building: our shower head was broken and the heat didn't distribute evenly from room to room. Our downstairs room was so hot at night while the upstairs was freezing cold.
Aside from this, the building itself was perfect for a large group. We had bonfires, group meals, and enjoyed the views from the various porches. Loved it!!

We loved our time at the Inn at Cliff View. Everything was clean and the kitchen and living areas had everything we needed. The area is beautiful and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The Inn is in a great location, close to the Jackson river, Covington, Falling Springs Falls, Alleghany Outfitters all close by. We enjoyed the sunset at Falling Springs overlook at Jen's recommendation and it did not disappoint. Would love to visit again!

This is a rustic inn in a stunning location. Great fr our family reunion for hiking birding and golf. The inn isn’t fancy but a perfect space for a family to gather.
Nearby activities: Right next to the river, hiking trail and golf course.

Love this place! So glad I found it! The inn is immaculate and the bed was so comfortable. The staff is so friendly and they make you feel like family. The bonus is the restaurant on onsite. Great choices for beer on tap and fantastic food. Cannot wait until I come back!

I spent the weirdest July 4th of my life in this very unique establishment a year or so ago.I had the entire place to myself and it was fantastic, a commons area with kitchen and tv area and a deck with a view of the cliffs. I was there quite by accident as all accommodations were full in White Sulfur Springs for the Greenbrier Classic. A family owned and operated golf course in a spectacular setting by the beautiful Jackson River. The Inn has about 10 rooms on two levels all with different themes. It was weird in that I felt ‘left behind’, like every one had been taken up and there I was, alone watching in this large but empty space in this empty Inn, the Fourth of July celebration on the mall in DC. It was incredible I will never forget that evening. I did however move the bureau in my room up against the door when I went to bed.

Very friendly staff, clean, relaxing and has many amenities. Food at the Brewhouse and an 18 hole golf course made our stay wonderful!
