A warm thank you from Pap & Lilyan. This side of Heaven was found on Morgan road. Melissa is a woman of great determination with a very caring heart, I could have spent hours talking with her. Noone could deny her love for what she does. The care she takes with her animals, and those of others, is truly evident. Special thanks to Vivian, what an Angel, may she receive all the blessings she rightfully deserves. Thank you Ladies, We will be returning soon.

We had the best time during our hour long trail ride. I highly recommend coming here, the staff is friendly, the horses are calm, and the scenery is beautiful!

What an experience! We stayed with Melissa for 3 nights and did two trail rides and some work in the round pen. The horses are beautifully cared for and reliable trail companions. There are 4 lovely dogs and 9 cats that will warm your lap in the evening. Melissa fed us very well and we just had an amazing time sharing meals with everyone and watching TV together at night. Charlie and Melissa really make you feel like you're part of the family. If you miss your childhood summer camp vibes this comes very close (with the option to drink wine on the deck by the stream at night). We also appreciated the ability to learn how to care for horses and help in preparing them for our trail rides. This experience is about much more than trail riding and we were truly delighted.

This place isn’t just good, it’s downright magical! Words can’t express how impressed I was with everything from the wonderful owners (Melissa and Alicia are amazing) to how well cared for the horses are, to the cleanliness of the place to the patience they showed my boyfriend who had never ridden a horse before. Alicia went so far as to forfeit riding and walk the whole trail ride alongside my boyfriend’s horse just to be sure he felt safe! I’ve never seen someone go so above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you, Walking After Midnight Farm, from the bottom of my heart for making this one of the most unforgettable experiences we’ve ever had.

This is the only place I will trail ride or buy a gaited horse from! Melissa, Sharon and Alyssa are great to work with and all very friendly and knowledgeable. Wish I could give this place more then a 5 star rating.

Trail riding at Charlie and Melissa’s Walking After Midnight Farm was one of the best experiences! The woods by the stream are breathtaking. The horses were gentle with a beautiful canter (I am a novice...it’s been years since horseback riding lessons). And the people were warm, personable, and super funny. I loved spending the day here. If I lived closer, I might be tempted to go every day. :)
