Very cute country store and best blackberry pie I've ever had! I guess it's good that I live near Buffalo, NY because I'd be getting pies at least once a week!

I bought 4 pies, picking up on Christmas Eve morning. 2 Raspberry, 1 peach & 1 cinnamon apple. The peaches was still crunchy & the Raspberry pie was sour. My pies last year was good but this year very poor to pay $70 for these pies that did not have a great taste. No more for me.

I love this place. It may sound weird saying that about what most people think is just a gas station but once you go inside and to the market attached to the buildiung, it's another story. Went inside to get a drink after filling up and there was so much more than the typical chips and sodas at a gas station. Inside they had a bakery and all the pies and desserts looked delicious. We went with the cherry turnovers and just those alone is enough for me wanting to return. Crispy and flakey with the perfect amount of filling. At the farmers market we got some specialty flavored candy canes, some Cherry Cider, and were so very close to buying wind chimes from them. The wind chimes they had had such a nice tone to them. The staff on both sides of store were incredibly nice and helpful. Cant wait until Im headed in that direction again

The baked goods from here, especially the pies, are as good as homemade. We so enjoyed the cherry in particular. Very accommodating staff.

Great veggies. Their pies are awesome. I've tried their lunch specials and they are very good. They have Shell gasoline. The gas was about 10 cents more than stations around this location

Prices are great. Food is very good. Excellent location! My review is in regards to the 2 employees that were working tonight (Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 6:30 pm in the food court area. First of all... they need to be retrained STAT! Customers came in asking to have some assistance with a propane tank, and the man behind the register told him that he cannot help him because his manager was outside, taking out the trash, and he could not leave the register. The customer was disappointed and got in his car and left. The right thing to do would have been to say hold tight. My manager will be back to help. We ordered a sandwich and it was icy cold We had just been there last week and it was warm and toasted and I explained this to the young man making the sandwiches. He said, and I quote " Well, I wasn't working a couple of days ago." Customers around us laughed. After explaining to him what we wanted, he seemed exhausted with us , huffed and went back to form the sandwich up The man at the register replied " we'll Get it all taken care of for ya ! In a loud condescending voice! My husband replied back, " And we appreciate that!" The whole experience was disappointing. All in all, my sandwich was eaten. Prices are still great. Food is still great. Location is still great. Manager : retrain these boys ! They're bringing down your business.

Great if you like paying for overpriced baked goods, cheap gifts and average food. This place is an absolute JOKE. All pies/bakery items come FROZEN from bulk grocers all they do to call the pies “homemade” is add their apple cider jelly as a glaze. You could get the same effect by buying a jar and buying a frozen pie from the grocery store for a fraction of the cost. Sorry but $16 for a frozen pie is ridiculous. I have seen the same cold case pastries in Martins for HALF the price. Don’t get me started on the giftables… it’s bought in bulk for super cheap, which is normal for gift shops. What’s not normal is an average FIFTY percent mark up on those items! INSANE!! Don’t trust all of the produce either unless it has the Grown by Whitacre Family Farms sign it is shipped in. Again same quality as a local grocery store (exact same produce brands) just faked to look local and fresh. Even the jarred items (which they are known for) are a sham. Most of the jarred goods are again bought in bulk and then just packaged at the cannery up the hill then passed off at the market as a “family tradition”. A family tradition of swindling their customers. If you’re a tourist passing through and you want waste your money sure but if your local and you support this nonsense, for shame. We have many other legitimate farmers markets in the area with actual homemade and homegrown items. I am done with the Whitacre’s making a joke out of their customers.

Great variety of produce, baked goods, and fun stuff. My sister introduced me to their cherry butter, and I had to get some of my own.

Very good food! Very nice staff. Was a bit disappointed that no large Jewish pretzels were available (winter item?!). Parking and entry are a challenge, however. Location on a hill I know doesn't help. Some folks don't understand about seniors in regard to this. C'est la vie!

First time stopping at Shawnee Springs market. They have a nice blend of a deli, bakery and convenience store which is attached to a country farmers market. Worth checking it out...do yourself a favor.
