When i visit Crozet, i make sure that i stop at the Artisan Depot. I ALWAYS find a local "nugget" at this shop. The items are all made by local artists, and everything is fabulous

This is a good quality artisan gallery with a fairly wide variety of offerings. My only reservation is that the prices trend toward the expensive with a limited supply of genuinely affordable gifts. Well worth a visit but don't expect to fill your entire shopping list in one stop.

The ladies inside were incredibly gracious and kind to my mom and myself when we stopped in. We really enjoyed all the beautiful items curated nicely in various artists' booths, and all the local information and pamphlets we received, inviting us to explore Virginia further. Whether to learn more about touring / discovering Virginia, or browse for cute household items and gifts, definitely pay this charming place a visit.

I highly recommend this shop full of locally made gifts and goodies if you're in Crozet and looking to spend some dollars. It's open on Sundays too, always a plus. Their website tells me that the Crozet Artisan Depot offers handmade items from over 70 artisans in the region. Wow, that's terrific. Though I browsed through plenty of awesome things, I ended up getting some goat milk soap from Wynott Farm and some funky chocolates from Cocoa & Spice. There's also a tourist area in the back with brochures and a staffer ready to assist in case you need some recommendations for attractions and activities. A restroom is available nearby too. The Depot is, fittingly enough, located in an old historic train depot. It has a small parking lot attached to it, though I observed some people parking in there and walking across the street which didn't seem too kosher.

We stopped as we passed through town. I wasn't expecting much but this place turned out to be great. They have a wide variety of art; photographs, painting, textiles, jewelry, wood, glass. I left with a little knitted pumpkin, large wooden coasters we are going to use as mini cheese boards, and a little glass caterpillar that goes in a potted plant. Very pleased.
