  Arrived at 8:20am, the door was locked 🔒. But on the door it says they open at 8am. Nobody was inside

  This establishment is leaving a lot of trash that has spread through the forest behind, including bottles of bleach in the stream and pieces of plastic going into residential gardens, a bird was found caught by some netting, this is negatively affecting wildlife and residents in this area of Crozet. This has been reported several times and no changes have been made, I am told that this has been ongoing for several years. Please be responsible and make changes with your disposal. Thank you.

  Never open when they are supposed to be. Aisles are filled with merchandise that needs to be stocked, and yet corporate doesn’t give them the hours to hire employees to fill them. Dollar General is one of the most toxic and worst corporations in America, and this store clearly demonstrates that.

  The owner needs to fix the damn heat in that store tbh! It’s a shame i can’t stop by on way home from work due to situations like these. It’s not the employees fault it’s the owners! Tighten up! Stop being cheap and fix what’s supposed to be fixed! Scared money don’t make no money 💯

  The dollar General in Crozet has IMPROVED IMMENSELY since the new general manager has worked there. Ms Williams, as are the other employees, are always pleasant and cheerful. No longer are the isles blocked with stock awaiting being put away. No longer has the fire department ALMOST closed them down due to being a potential fire hazard. No longer has the store required to be closed to allow "imported" employees to ensure the store is safe. In fact, Ms Williams is there working so much, I have repeatedly suggested she get a cot in the back to rest! The malcontent who posted a negative review obviously has a entitlement issue. I enjoy shopping there. No thank you to a Walmart super-center here! Everyone is always going through something, but you should NOT be the cause of it! In fact, if a police officer was present when the malcontent was showing her backside, she would have been charged with disorderly conduct. Please ignore that poor ignorant soul!

  As everyone in this community can tell this store has really turned around. It’s like a totally new store. Thank you to the new management. Dollar general knew what they were doing when they hired you. From the community thank you for all you are doing and for always being nice and friendly. Keep up the good hard work.

  5 months ago when I first moved to town, I did a good amount of shopping at this location mostly because I didn’t want to drive to Charlottesville . The store was a mess , dirty, unorganized, and chaotic. I vowed never to go back. At some point around the Christmas holidays , I was too busy to go to other stores so I went back and I am so happy I did! The store had a younger crew working there , the aisles were cleared , shelves were stocked and I didn’t have to search the store for a cashier. What a pleasant change! Please keep this younger crew, they even smiled !

  This has to be the dirtiest, unorganized store I have ever been in. Begin the counter on the floor was disgusting. The isles were blocked with merchandise, you couldn’t even walk down some of the isles. It was plain to see no one takes pride in this store. A handicapped person could not maneuver around in this store. I will not go back.

  Music was blasting. Cold day and the doors were wide open. After getting our items we went to the car to look at the receipt. Three things showed a diff price than the yellow sticker price. Back in the store and kept saying hello, hello, and no one was at the register. A man with no badge, and regular clothes comes from the back and says he was the manager. Told him the problem, and he says we are changing our prices and haven't changed them yet. How would customers know that? No sign on the door etc. He says you should have looked when you were at the register. That was so rude! He didn't offer a refund, but put the blame on the customer. Wow! How unprofessional! Not happy with this store!

  I understand why people hate this place so muchThe employees are idiots they have no idea of what’s going on around themBut we should cut them some slack because they completely failed life. They make less than 18 dollars an hour and they all have a crippling vaping addictionSo next time you complain about dollar general in Crozet keep in mind there life isn’t easy like yoursThey don’t get to drive there nice car to there nice big houseThey probably don’t even have a house they probably have to sleep in there car

  Really doesn't deserve a one star they are terrible always wanted to close and of ain't close they have nothing
