I’ve been a client for well over 20 years and I won’t go anywhere else! Linda and Charlotte, and others along the way, are exceptionally talented and skillful turning scissors into magic wands making everyone look and feel their best! Their ability to visualize the ideas their clients describe, and their extensive knowledge of how to use various products in relation to human system manifestations and conditions is impressive to say the least. From changes in hormones, clients undergoing chemo, stages in life such as menopause, taking certain medications, the list goes on… they advise on what products should and should not be used and why. They are always learning the latest information on how to keep their clients hair safe and new and exciting ways to make their clients beautiful. They are paying attention to you, they remember you from visit to visit and they care - not only about your hair and your beauty, they care about you as a person. Linda, Charlotte and everyone who works there are not only highly professional beauticians, they are simply great people with whom I’m also tremendously blessed to call true friends.

It's located in a cute town with a strong and active local community. The salon has a clean rustic feel and staff that welcomes you like family.My hair stylist, Becki, is a seasoned professional who stays on top of current trends and techniques. I came to her after accidentally dying my bleached blonde highlights black ? She transformed my head from goth to posh. 100% satisfied.

Have been going to Georgetown West for over a decade now and have no plans of ever letting another soul touch my hair. Charlotte is a wizard when it comes to cuts, color, and styling! She is also one of the best people in the world, so sweet, always supportive of your hair dreams, and does an amazing job making it happen. At the end of every haircut I’m full of mixed emotions- so thrilled with how pretty she made me, and sad because we have such great conversations, and I hardly want to leave- I could talk to her all day! All the ladies are lovely here, it’s clear they take technique and updated style knowledge very seriously. Georgetown West forever!

Was NOT fired. Literally have the texts to prove it. Linda (owner) likes to run business illegally (treating stylists like they’re paid 1099 and they are W2 employees)and I didn’t have to put up with it. I have a lot of reasons for why I’m leaving a bad review for this place. I stated them in an old review but actually felt guilty for leaving such detail against a small business, and wanted to delete the whole review but Google wouldn’t let me, so I just left it blank, but to see the comment under my review was pretty shocking. This is more for the employment side of things, the stylists are all extremely talented there.
But I am editing this review because the owner clearly wants people to think that I was fired, when I simply QUIT and it’s really sad to see the owner is telling people who possibly know who I am that I was fired when I know she is just angry at how I quit. I am very proud to say that I have never been fired from a job before. The owner’s comment below will show exactly how toxic the environment was to work in, which is why I left. Not to mention, when I left and told her I was not coming back, I wanted to leave it at that and she started an argument with me, and when I asked how to receive my final paycheck (wasn’t sure if I’d have to pick it up, or if it would still be direct deposit), I was ignored and just had to sit and wait. The last thing I want to sound like is bitter (like the comment below my review obviously does), but I just wouldn’t recommend working for her unless you already personally know her.

If you are looking for wedding or special event hair, this is not the place. My sister had a trial done for her hair for her wedding. She gave them her wedding date and was told they were available. At the appointment, she and the stylist discussed what time the stylist would be there, etc. She was told after the appointment and paying for the wedding trial that they were suddenly booked for that day. Who in their right mind would book a trial with someone who wasn't available on the day they needed them? What a waste of everyone's time and money. The manager of the salon told her she should have verified her wedding date was available. Since when is it the customer's job to verify the date is available after already being told it is? This salon needs to get their scheduling and organization together. She now has to find a new stylist, is out the money for a pointless hair trial, and has to pay for a new trial with someone who is actually available. This clearly isn't the place you want to trust with something as important as your wedding day. Negligent and terrible customer service.

I don't do this ever but I'm so fed up and disappointed. I booked a hair trial for my wedding day with Georgetown West Salon which I attended and paid for. During the trial we scheduled the entire day of my wedding and spoke about all the details. A week later I get a call saying that the person is unavailable and has been booked since Nov 2022 for the same day. When I asked why the books weren't checked ahead of time they couldn't give me an answer so I asked for my money back. The manager, Charlotte was supposed to call me back yesterday per their receptionist which she didn't and so I called back today and spoke to her. She basically doubled down and blamed me for not verifying that the date was available when I clearly have no access to the stylist schedules stating that I did get the service done. Who in their right mind would waste time and money on a wedding hair trial with someone who wasn't even available the day of the wedding? I am waiting for a response back from Linda Trigo who is the owner but I am disgusted with the way they have gone about this entire process. Shame on you for such awful customer service.

Dude's perspective here: Solid, well run place, Charlotte was great, scissor cut, my hair is a curly mess and she had me looking good! Shampoo too. Made an appointment on-line, she was on time, very talented hairstylist, cool human being. Highly recommend!Service: Haircut

Ally did the most amazing job on my toddler's first haircut! He was really nervous but she was so good with him and really helped him feel comfortable. He had the best time and the cut was exactly what I wanted! Cannot recommend her highly enough!Service: Kids' cuts

Have been coming here 15 years Charlotte is very amazing! Kind awesome stylist , color cut styling ! Kahlie is awesome too ! Today I walked in and Ally , before even touching my hair ; expressed to be in a very rude manner that she would be charging me a $65 dollar fee because I forgot to cancel on my last appointment . One that I did not get a reminder on! Next she continued to be very unprofessional and say “ your hair is wet ; now I’m going to have to charge you for blowing drying your hair and untangling it! I expressed that “ I had no idea you couldn’t rinse your hair while taking a shower before I came to GTW ;!she had not even touched my hair at this point ! I brushed my hair out before coming . I could tell she was in a very odd mood . But in all my 15 years mainly with Charlotte I have never seen such adolescent behavior . She reminded me “she did not have to do my hair” . So I left without getting anything done! Well, as A Retired Educator from UVA ; I just took a deep breath and just remembered how many children I have worked with in 30 years and counted as a lesson ! Stay with Charlotte! Thank you for a day well wasted! Good luck with a new attitude Ally

These professional stylists are wonderful. When my visiting grandson, 4 1/2 years old, needed a haircut, it was a fun, lots-of-laughter experience for him. He was treated like the superhero he is (he was dressed in his Ironman outfit). The parting balloon was a sweet touch!!I can’t say enough positives—the quality of his haircut, the great value and the overall experience was noteworthy!!!Charlotte is a true gem.Service: Haircut

I have incredibly thick and coarse hair. For years, I hopped from salon to salon because I couldn't find anyone that could make my hair look particularly good. I just happened to land on Ally several years ago and I have LOVED each and every one of my haircuts since then. I get lots of compliments on my hair now.Service: Haircut
