Super high prices here. For honest and affordable pricing call Hunt Country Propane. The Culpeper Petroleum propane rate is the highest in the area. I called and told them their price was over a dollar a gallon higher than three other propane companies but they didn't care.

The people are QUITE nice. But the work/customer service ethic is awful. They don't follow up on when they should be out, if the job was done. Workers aren't prepared with items needed to get the job done. They schedule and reschedule, always with the same thing, they are low staffed for whatever reason.The house generator should have been completed already. As it is, that big storm is headed here 12/22 and if the power goes out, we're screwed, as NOW an inspector can't come out till Jan 3.I do not recommend Culpeper Petroleum if you need anything done on time.

Great attendant outside. Loved the higher octane than Quarles. Truck felt like it had more power too. We will be back again.

Great place clean restroom and store. It is a must stop when you are in the area. Located right in Elkwood, VA. Gas Food and restrooms.

Workers trespass without permission. Laugh and shrug and say “we knocked and no one was home, sorry”. Came home to find them in our driveway servicing the neighbouring home.

Absolutely the best service they bought me propane same day I called and I was on schedule for Dec 1st to get my tank inspected cause there very busy but Dwight told me if he could get me in sooner he would and they came the next day for inspection .I'm so blessed to have my fire place up an running and Tech Jim was very explanatory Thanks so much great team !!

We had a house with no heat this past week and needed a tank delivered ASAP. They responded promptly and said they would be here at 4:30. A man named Dwight showed up right on time. He asked me where I wanted the tank to go and where the gas lines would be installed. I had no information and basically told him whatever he thinks is best, and he was able to figure out the best location for it based on where the old tank was. He then maneuvered his truck through a difficult situation, as my backyard had sewer lines and other obstacles but he was able to back up and extend his rig/crane and set the tank and a convenient location without issue. Very nice guy as well.

Very friendly folks here. We were running late and called ahead to see if we'd make it, they assured us they'd be open. We got there right at normal closing time, they stayed open and we got our off road diesel fuel here. Many thanks to Culpeper Petroleum! ?
