Took 5 days to get in which was understandable but I'm sorry the pricing at shops is ridiculous these days. Mark up on parts and labor is outlandish.
Update to 2 stars since they told me I needed front brakes
.... they were at 20% supposedly
Just got them looked at WITH MY OWN EYES and pads were over 50%. (Had a brand new set to compare to)
Now I'm questioning whether I needed the front left wheel bearing they told me I needed for safety (which added $500-600 too my repair bill)
Skilled techs skilled at estimating unnecessary repairs and convincing people to get them...

I have been taking my vehicles to McCarthy for several years now. Kevin and Josh are prompt, professional and a pleasure to deal with. I am sure their team in the back is excellent as well! It is difficult to find an honest shop that is consistent in their work ethic. I do not hesitate to call McCarthy for routine maintenance or when I'd like to get an issue checked out. Culpeper is lucky to have McCarty in our town and I will gladly continue taking my vehicles to McCarthy. If you are looking for a shop that will charge you what they quote you, be straightforward regarding necessary work and communicate efficiently, call McCarthy!

I dropped my car off to have a screw removed from a tire. They also found a nail in another tire. They removed them both while I was at work. Had me ready to go upon arrival.Excellent service and customer service. These guys were great. I highly recommend them.

Honest and great customer service! They will always correct any mistakes and will just do an excellent job off the bat! Fantastic shop! Kevin and Josh have helped me consistently and have provided just an excellent level of service that I have not seen at another shop. Highly highly recommend working with these guys at this shop. It’s hard to find a shop that you can trust well and this is it!!!

Great work. Had alignment done. Took them a while longer due to my vehicle, not them. Charged me same as quoted. Maybe actually $10 less? They checked and adjusted everything right. Not only toe like a lot of other shops have done for me. Overheard their front desk guys communicating well and taking care of elderly and less knowledgeable customers very professionally. Will come back and give them my business more in future.
