I decided to visit this butcher shop again, partly because of our shared Afghan background and culture, but unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. The staff, including the butcher, were quite rude and unprofessional. In contrast, I’ve had much better experiences with form butchers, who are always kind and welcoming. Sadly, my last visit here left me with a very negative impression, and I don’t plan to return.

the animals look healthy!! And for Omar kaka coming from Hosi i came to your farm and i have suggestions it’s ok if you don’t like them i have a idea that every year bring at least 5 horses and have a race the competitors have to buy food for their horse you bring the horses they supply food and pay extra for the horse the winner gets a prize like free gift card or something like that and the same for pigs but they keep the pig

i see some haters or other shop owners are trying to discriminate, which is a shameful act, overall I like the quality of their meat for years and have no other options so far when it comes to buying meat.

Harami, I will never trust this business nor will I come back. They are frauds who took my advance but when it came to pick up my meat, they said they were finished and had sold the cow I had paid and selected in advance.

Avoid this place in any cost. They lie to you about their service. Worst customer service, they treat you like trash. Never got there in Eid day. They sell halal meat in haram way.
Please don’t go there.

Worst place I’ve ever been to. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!. Not only did they treat me rudely but also sold the cow I had pre-selected and paid for in advance. Their blatant disregard for treating customers with decency is baffling. They have permanently lost my businesses.

I am extremely disappointed with the recent price increase for Qurbani goats from the advertised price of $500 to $700. They advertised $500 and then changed the price when we got there to $700. This sudden hike is unreasonable and exploitative, especially during such a significant religious occasion. I chose this place because it was highly recommended by our masjid (Dar Al Noor), but this experience has been a letdown.
I was debating whether or not I should write a review, but after driving over an hour to get here just to get robbed, I feel compelled to share my experience to prevent others from falling for this trap. The price change feels like a blatant attempt to profit from the community's needs, which is very disheartening. I expected more consideration and fairness. I hope the management reconsiders this decision to better serve their customers in the future.

Before I start, I’ll defend the owners by saying I don’t think they’re bad people and they were not being rude with customers so much as they were doing their best to make some sort of order/structure while customers constantly cut the line and bickered with one another. But of course there is a certain way we’re told to approach guidance in Islam.
The main issue is the people at this farm were not following the Islamic way of doing things, which is the most important part of any halal meat/qurbani
1) they had no organization for keeping people in lines, keeping track of their animal, or following the order of who came first to process meat which caused issues and delays. And people made it worse by trying to cut in front
2) they said they accepted card but when we got there they only took cash or Zelle. They told me 500 over the phone and that’s what I paid. so that was good.
3) although it’s probably hectic and overwhelming any time Eid Al Adha comes around it’s not an excuse to be unprepared. Only two out of six meat processing tables were working and on top of that they were not being cleaned off except a small portion between animals. So pieces of meat and juices from other animals had been sitting on the tables and processing tables for hours i am sure people might get sick.
4) they chopped up the animals into pieces, and not clean precise cuts. Just random chunks. And they didn’t clean the meat as I saw some legs of animals with mud (hopefully not feces) still on the meat when they cut them up.
5) there was an incident out of their control with a cow which I don’t blame them for. But they couldn’t control a big cow and they ended up shooting it multiple times and then slaughtering it. Inside the pen. In front of all the other animals. Which then terrified every animal after that
6) The BIGGEST point.
They did not follow the Islamic tradition.
-They dragged the animals out to room where the other animals were hanging up and bleeding out already (which terrified the animals, some goats and lamb were screaming)
-instead of laying the animal down and killing it in a peaceful way, they hung it upside down by it’s feet then slaughtered it
(You are supposed to hang it after it’s been slaughtered)
-they killed other animals right in front of one another
(Your not supposed to kill them in front of others)
-skinned the animal within a few minutes of it’s throat being cut. (Your supposed to wait until the body is cold)
-the only aspect they followed was saying bismillahi Allahu Akbar before cutting the throat. But they did it by hand and they offered to let you do it.
My end experience made me feel as if I went to a regular slaughter house, not a place that follows the Islamic way of doing things.
I don’t say this to hurt the business but if you are serious about doing things strictly as we’re told in Islam I would find another farm, atleast for the Qurbani, it’s possible they do things differently when they’re not super busy.

Absolutely terrible experience at Mecca Halal Meats. The favoritism towards their own people and those who give extra money is blatant. The management is horrible, and the staff are incredibly rude, insulting customers and treating them like dirt. They don't give you what you buy and will sell your animal to others if they get a higher price. Avoid this place at all costs.
