We came here for a farewell tea for a dear friend and her daughter who where moving out of town. Our waitress was very patient with us and explained the menu. The Afternoon Tea of five sandwiches, two savories and four desserts was delicious and filling. She also answered all our questions about the tea choices. We all agreed that the Dowager and Irish Cream were our favorites. Would definitely come here again! Thank you to Miss Minerva’s staff for making our gathering a memorable one!

Lovely tearoom with hats you can wear at your table. Nice array of savory and sweet foods, and the teas were most enjoyable. Very attentive hostesses. I hope to return some day.

I visited Culpeper a few month ago and we were walking down the street and noticed this cute tea room. We called the number and by chance they happened to have same day seating. The staff was all very friendly to us and they had lots of delicious treats that made it into a very special afternoon. After the meal and some nice conversation with the owner she even gave us some tea to take home as a gift.

Whenever we have out of town guests, Miss Minerva's is one of the first places I take them! I like to go here at least once or twice a month in the winter with relatives and close friends. Ashley always makes you feel like royalty and makes sure you have a relaxing and delightful experience. So many wonderful choices of tea! The food is served in a wonderful 3 tiered fashion and is always varied and delicious. This is definately one of our all time "Happy Places"! Thank you Ashley.

Miss Minerva’s is a delightful tea room. The atmosphere embraces you with the warmth of hospitality. The selection of teas is first rate - the offerings include woman owned small business, Serendipity and many others. The tea service is exceptional. For the holiday yea we had chicken salad, traditional cucumber sandwich, fabulous mouth watering scones with clotted cream (truly yummy). With many other scrumptious foods. There were 3 of us this time (3rd visit). Highly recommendedAlso the owner pays a living wage with shared tips. Very progressive!

My waitress, Ashley, was very pleasant and saw to my needs in a timely manner. I ordered the afternoon tea for one which included 5 tea sandwiches, a savory, a scone with cream and jam, AND two desserts. One of the tea sandwiches was a smoked salmon which I absolutely would not eat, so she switched that out for another pimiento cheese sandwich as I asked. Everything was quite tasty and I was too full to eat the large chocolate cupcake. A doggie bag was required!

We had the most lovely time for afternoon tea. Delicious sandwiches and treats! The tea was a wide choice of hand crafted/organic vendors. I went with my mother but great for a girls day or a young ladies’ party.

Charming location, charming tea room, and charming servers. A wide selection of delicious teas that they will refill for you with a second choice of tea if you want. I was very impressed with the teas. The scones, tea sandwiches, and parties were delicious as well. I just wish they had each been more than one bite, these were très petit . I have been to many teas, East Coast, West Coast and in the UK where I have had wonderful experiences and this was lovely, too. It made for a great afternoon with friends and family. Thank you! Plus the bathroom was done up beautifully for a tea room!

My dear friend and I travel all over northern Virginia for afternoon tea. We've had several misses and a few hits -- Miss Minerva's tea room was a hit. They have a wonderfully wide selection of loose teas to choose from, and we ordered the full tea service. They provided a wide selection of savory and sweet foods and a generous amount. The servers were friendly and helpful. The owner came out to check on our service several times and honestly looked for feedback because she wants her business to be a success. There's a small gift shop where you can buy loose tea and a few other items. Huge selection of loose teas. Free parking is less than a block away from this tearoom. We're excited to learn they also offer themed teas, so we'll be back for the Downton Abby tea!

Went here for a bridal shower and it was so perfect. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the teas and food. They were pleasantly attentive throughout the event offering more tea or asking questions. Both the tea and the food were delicious. The wedding tea, the smoked salmon on a baguette chip, and the apple tart were my three favorites. The whole place was rented out for the event which accommodated our group of ~20 people with ease. They had a gift table set up, a space for the bride-to-be to sit and open presents that was separate from the tables which for really well. I would love to go back for another event or check out their gift shop which was closed during the event. There's a 3hr parking lot around the corner and across Main Street from Miss Minerva's. Street parking in front of the shop wasn't readily available on a Sunday afternoon.
