I don’t like the Rent to own options and the contracts can be off putting. I went to look at a few things and can’t justify a payment plan so I’ll wait to get the furniture when I can pay outright.

We cannot say enough fantastic things to cover the extent of stellar customer service skills that Jonathan has shown us the past month and a half. From day one of walking into his store, this man had a smile on his face and was so very polite. When we told him we were in a pinch to get furniture within 3 days… THREE DAYS! He rose to the challenge. He made the necessary phone calls to other stores, arranged for pick/up and drop from those stores, and even delivered and put together the furniture himself! Did I mention we have rented a whole house?! Never once did he seem frustrated or annoyed. Rent-A-Center upper management needs to take note…. Jonathan has got to be one of your best managers and employees. ALL stores need a Jonathan staffed there. He has superior Customer service skills and exudes compassion and respect for all his customers. If we must use Rent-A-Center again, no matter that the Culpepper store is over an hour away, we will travel simply to be able to have Jonathan assist us. We know it will be done quick and correctly!

They do everything they can to make you pay late fees. I indigent them of the change in debit card they said they set up my new auto pay they did not . Then 3 days later with out my authorization they managed to make a phone payment using the card they told me they did not have . I will never use them again. My previous experiencewith Aaron's was much better.

My payment was due last Saturday and they called me 3x the day it was due. It’s only 6 days late and they called my references, my job and me. That is Ridiculous. I have furniture through Aaron’s and they won’t call you till it’s 2 days late. And they won’t call your references till it’s a week late. I had some family issues I’ve been dealing with this week and was gonna make the payment for the month today but decided to give it back to them tomorrow since Aaron’s has a better one for me for $40 less a month. You guys need to understand stuff happens in people’s life and as long as they end up making the payment then you need to back off. I’m never going back to rent a center again!!!
