I don’t remember the girls name but I do remember she had red glasses and I asked for French tips and my whole nail is like almost covered in black so my nail was supposed to be like French tip with a heart on the ring finger and i smashed my hand in the door and I told her to be gentle with it because it kind of hurt and there was like a blister there and she takes out the drill and she like ran over the drill and I jerked my hand back and she said no honey no honey I was like that Hurt and she goes well you gotta stay still well, you kinda Can’t go over a blister so that’s why I gave it a one star it sucks and I hate my nails

Owners Nina and Lee are some of the sweetest people I have ever met. I came here for my first manicure and I've never gone anywhere else. Always very nice environment, good place to socialize with locals if you go there a lot. I had Lee do my nails for homecoming, prom, vacation, and every set after that. Definitely recommend.

AMAZING! I’ve not been this happy with someone else doing my nails in years. I always do acrylic but when I walked in, they said they only do dip powder. I was hesitant, but gave it a go - I am so glad I did! I got the perfect shape, perfect color and the nails are not uncomfortably thick. The owner was amazing and down to earth, as if it couldn’t get better. I will be going here from now on. Thank you!!!

Live in the area .. wanted to try a new local nail salon... So sorry and disappointed I did. Horrible attitudes... No listening skills, do it the way they want it no matter your repeated description of what you the "paying" customer wants????? I ended up very upset and taken aback. They didn't even bother to make sure my nails were all even after all the time I waited. Extremely noticeable difference that's very embarrassing!! I've never had a single nail appointment (hands only) take 2 hrs & 15 min???? Why would or should a new potential customer be treated so disrespectful for $72?
Honestly, I've NEVER had such a horrible experience.... NEVER again!!

The man that did my nails this past time has always been rude but this time he was visibly irritated as I made a request, shaking his head, huffing and walking away. Didn't speak the whole time. Literally the entire time. But at time to pay, he certainly asked for a tip. I have been in here time after time and have never had a great experience, but this was the last attempt. I'll do them myself, save the money and the rude attitude. Did not like my nails either. One was SO crooked. They were all very thick and square and not natural. Never again. LUXE nails is a little further down the road. They are better, maybe more expensive but at least the nails look nice.

I have been getting my nails done religiously for 15 years.. I have tried so many different nail salons and I have found they are the best in the Roanoke area. I have only had positive experiences. I drive quite a distance to come here. You should give them a fair shake and ignore the reviews from years ago!

I’ve got my nails done here for a couple years and after Mondays appointment I will not be returning. Don’t like giving a bad review but I have never been treated so rudely in my life. The lady who done my nails was far from friendly. Everyone is entitled to a bad day but when you pay over $50 for nails the least you can do is be polite. Will not be going back.

My first time coming to this salon and I must say I had an absolutely amazing experience! My nails look absolutely beautiful! I have lived in the Roanoke area for 10 years and this is the first time I have had a good experience at a nail salon!! I will definitely be going back again!!Services: Pedicure

They keep taking people in and rush everybody to get them out! They did not put in the time to really remove the dead skin or cut my nails. While I was getting my pedicure and manicure there were 6 or 7 people waiting for a technician.Services: Manicure

I normally don’t like to give less-than positive reviews, especially for small local businesses, but felt the need to share some of the things that concerned me.I had given them a call early in the day to schedule an appointment for when I got off work since I knew I was tight on time, and they told me they had availability at that time and penciled me in. However, when I got there, I ended up waiting for 30 minutes before anyone took care of me.At one point, another worker came up to the woman who was doing my nails and they started arguing (maybe just discussing intensely?). I couldn’t understand what they were saying, but I could tell they were arguing over the workmanship of my nails. It was just a very awkward situation to be in for a few minutes and I would have preferred them to have the discussion after I left.It also didn’t feel the cleanest. I could tell they had not cleaned their tools in between clients, and there was even hot pink nail polish residue leftover in one of the brushes and it ended up getting all over my hands. This was especially concerning, as I bled a little bit as she trimmed my cuticles, and it grosses me out seeing them leave without sanitizing those tools. It also seemed like they didn’t wipe down their surfaces consistently, as there was residue and dried nail polish on a lot of their tools and chairs.Lastly, I was totally unaware that they did not accept credit card tips (only cash) and I did not have time to run and get cash from somewhere, and they seemed incredibly eager to leave (even though it was 1 hr before their stated closing time). I felt bad and wanted to support them, but they should really make that known beforehand or on their website.My nails do look absolutely beautiful and all the workers were so friendly and kind and I could tell they work so hard - they did a great job and I would come back here, but it definitely wouldn’t be my first choice.
