Over half of the tellers and managers did not speak. We were early and the employees had to pass us to enter the bank.Only 2 employees out of 6 spoke.

I went to AMNB today to make a withdrawal. She said she hated to ask but needed to know what I was going to do with it. My wife told her before I could say anything. The more I thought about it the more ill I got but I kept my mouth shut. Then she asked for my social and my occupation. The employees are friendly, however everything else has gone down hill since ANB&T merged with my old bank (Hometown Bank).

I want to start by saying the people who work at the branches are AWESOME! However I am super not impressed with AMNB since the transition from Hometown. Every time I try to manage my accounts (add a new one, close an old one, change my personal info), there is some glitch that requires multiple phone calls to resolve. It NEVER goes smoothly. I should not have this much trouble getting access to my money.

worst bank ever hometown was a good bank and should have stayed small I never had a problem for 5 years then the merger happend and since then one employee will do one protocol and that arose you go to another bank and you get another employee that does another set of rules and whatever they want nothing the same and when you ask for help normally the reactions I have got is they really don't want your business and that's just ridiculous because here's the thing I Bank you're

I received a call about fraud activity on my account and immediately called them back as instructed. When going through the charges we identified three that were fraud. The representative was supposed to stop them and not allow them to go through. He mistakenly let them go through. When I saw this I immediately called back and the representative admitted that a mistake was made. I then had to go to the bank and fill out dispute forms. Now it's going to take several weeks for them to make a decision on whether or not I will receive money that never should have been taken from my account to begin with. It was the bank's mistake and they should have immediately reimbursed my money.

Obviously this is not a bank we can trust with our money. They allow unauthorized transactions, and refuse to dispute them. When making an online payment, they allowed the other company to withdraw the money TWICE. When asked to dispute it, AMNB refused to do so. I will no longer support an establishment that does not take care of their customers and gives terrible customer service.
