I am so impressed with the improvements Carter Bank has made! I can honestly say as a former Branch Manager, walking into a branch is a whole new and improved experience! I had the pleasure of opening a new account with Crystal Wise today at the North Main branch in Danville. She was professional as well as thorough. Crystal suggested a checking account that draws interest the only requirement was a direct deposit! Awesome!

Terrible lines because the lobby is closed because America has turned into a bunch of weaklings scared of a cold virus. Online banking portal is a disaster as well. Locked out of online account numerous times even when entering correct username and password.Has not been able to connect to QuickBooks for over 2 months.Also closed the Blairs, VA branch shortly after I opened my account with them because it was close to my business.

I have to say that the Manager Vanessa at the North Main branch is the only reason I kept my accounts at this bank. I had an issue and it was a pretty severe one and I was going to move my business account elsewhere but when I called and spoke with her I was shocked. She spoke to me in the most professional and respectful way that I’ve ever been talked to. She made me feel that my account was important and she was extremely sorry that I had an issue and assured me that it would never happen again to anyone. I knew in her voice and the way she spoke to me that she was sincere. Also, the CSR Crystal apologized and let me speak with Vanessa. She was extremely apologetic and nice too.

I would like to say that a couple of weeks ago I came in to open an account with CB&T North Main branch and had a wonderful experience.With all of the craziness going on with Covid-19, they took me right back to the Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager, Vanessa BrittenShe was the kindest most helpful lady! She took the time to listen to my needs and what I was trying to do. Everything was explained to me clearly and so very organized, this made me feel very welcome and special, not just another number.I left knowing all was in order, had a file with all of the papers and information that I needed in hand, and felt like we were friends and knowing I could call on her anytime needed. I would highly recommend anyone to this branch and especially to Vanessa. Thank you all so much for this wonderful branch!

I am very pleased with the service I've received from the branch manager, Vanessa Britten, of the North Main branch in Danville, VA. She was very professional and friendly. She very efficiently and expeditiously took care of my needs. To my surprise, she followed up by calling to check on me to see if everything is okay and to offer her services if I need anything else.

Sharon H-D, Eden NC The tellers and customer service reps at the Eden NC branch are always courteous, helpful, and friendly. No, Carter bank may not have ATMs or online banking like bigger banks, but they do have a drive-thru window to accommodate those who get out of work after 5. They also have investment options and free checking. I trust them a lot more these days than the "big" banks.

I sat in the drive thru 45 min it was the first of the month although I wasn't there for that reason only two of the 4 lanes was open ridiculous.
