“I can’t say enough great things about Sarah Barker, a relationship specialist at Valley Star Credit Union in Danville. After my own bank didn’t offer the services I needed, I went to several others that did offer it over the past few days and unfortunately I needed an appointment next week, as they were all understandably short staffed due to it being right at Christmas. It’s the Friday right after Christmas, so I knew it was going to be difficult to find anywhere that was able to get me all setup without a prior appointment.

Sarah greeted me immediately and didn’t hesitate to help me with everything I needed, and did it all quickly, yet also thoroughly, before her next appointment arrived. She never mentioned it, I just asked because I didn’t want to put her behind. She could’ve easily said I needed to make an appointment, which I would totally understand, but she went out of her way to help me today. She was extremely knowledgeable and so kind and compassionate to my situation.

Service like this doesn’t exist anymore period, and certainly not in Danville! I left feeling like I had a new friend I could trust and that’s just unheard of, especially these days. I also met with her supervisor who was also very helpful and knowledgeable. Ms. Sarah definitely needs a promotion, raise or some kind of recognition because she went above and beyond for me today and I also witnessed the same care with the client she had before me. You can tell she really cares about her clients, which is kinda crazy these days because most people are just there for the paycheck. I will definitely be coming to her for all of my banking needs from now on.

In a time where we don’t expect much from anyone anymore in customer service, she blew me away, truly the best experience I’ve ever had in a bank in my entire life. Valley Star, you have a gem with Sarah! Don’t let her get away for sure!
