Enterprise Rent-A-Car of Danville, Va. has outdone itself AGAIN when they rented me a GMC Terrain. My Wife and I traveled from Virginia to New Mexico and back recently to visit family and the guys at Enterprise suggested this vehicle. It was the best experience. That car took us through every kind of weather and wind through six states on a 3,800 mile trip without one problem. It had a 14 gallon tank that got over 22 miles to the gallon and well over 300 miles on each fill up. WE SAVED MONEY BY NOT TAKING OUR PERSONAL VEHICLE WITH ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR at Danville, Va. Rented a car here and it took them an hour after I had arrived to get it to me...abysmal. Car was ok.

I was in a wreck and had all my insurance filed for a rental from this place, when we called their office to ask if they had a car for us we were told yes, that there were 3 we could pick from and to come down as soon as we could to get it. We went in immediately and were told no one in the shop had received our phone call and we were refused any type of service except to be put on a wait list for over a week. Someone else working in the shop and another customer stated that they did hear this phone call take place before we arrived stating that they did in fact have a car for us. When we explained that everything was already sorted out and asked for a manager to speak to the lady said she was the manager and that she would not call her district manager for us. We called customer service multiple times until we got a call back from the shop in Danville, although the person that called back was a new employee just apologizing for the mistake that was made and nothing was done about this.

I’ve rented with them religiously for years. I know them by name. I’ve ignored a lot of red flags & let a lot go but now they’ve stolen my money. Due to an error in an employees training, I was charged for three days instead of the one day I had the car. Amelia informed me that the employee would be spoken to but they would not refund me. Which is ridiculous.I could also discuss the breach of privacy/awkwardness I have experienced at this location by receiving messages to my personal cell from employees of the company after I’ve been serviced.However, I’d mostly just like my money back.

They didn't have the car I reserved through my insurance app. I received a truck and it was more expensive and limited the length of the rental. I tried to exchange the vehicle about 5 times but they always told me there wasn't one available. I eventually gave up and lived with the truck they gave me even though I couldn't keep it long enough to replace my car.

I have been stuck in Danville for 2 weeks due to an accident. On November 25th I made a reservation and get there and they say there are no vehicles available, but as I'm walking out another customer walks in and says they also have a reservation. Here's my complaint they were after me and got a vehicle. On December 2nd I made a reservation again and this time the Female manager would not accept my card because my company name was on the card and not my name, even though I had a company check with mine and companies name on it which I own the company and another credit card with the same. Since I questioned there policies she chose to not rent vehicle to me . That's ok Enterprise will not get my business ever again but good news there is a place in town called Ride Rental Cars and they are awesome. Also I needed a one way rental to Birmingham Alabama and they wanted to charge me over 700. Don't use Enterprise, I got another vehicle for a little over 200 dollars. BTW the Female Mgr pretty much has the attitude she can rent to or refuse anyone she wants. Terrible business practice

I just called the Danville,Va. Office and asked about what the cost of a random date and the person wouldn't give me anything and she didn't let me say anything, and she said that I was RUDE for trying to get a Word in , So I told her that I would Never rent a vehicle from Them!!

They’re slow. I waited 30 minutes for a vehicle that had already been scheduled. I was not a walk-in, but had confirmed my rental and the car actually had to be washed and cleaned while I sat in the waiting area.

This spot has very helpful employees. They are Patient with customers and see to their needs. I come to this one rather than any other because of the courtesy of the employees.

Staff is very rude and corporate is no help neither. I reserved a vehicle several weeks ago, I scheduled a pick up time for 0930, when I arrived I was told that there was no vehicle available for me and one should arrive by noon. When I returned at noon I was told by one guy in the office that he could not promise me a vehicle today, mind you I have to be in South Carolina for scheduled plans. I asked to speak with the lady from this morning who now states I have to wait until 2 pm. This is bad business not to have a vehicle Which was scheduled weeks in advance not available. They did not even try to offer me an upgrade or free rental for the inconvenience. I would not count on this place again. I am still waiting at 1438. I will start taking my business elsewhee.

Since we both own older vehicles we choose to rent a vehicle for long trips so Enterprise in Danville is our go to place. No matter how busy they get the staff gives us their complete attention and our rental vehicles are clean and maintained.

I usually like this place, but it just seemed disorganized shortly after being there, and the manager came in trying to help. I wasted 30 to 40 minutes of my time for them to tell me what they should have said from the start. If you don't have the vehicles, just say so. People have places to be. We were late getting to my daughter's chemo appointment waiting for a response should have left when I 1st started to. Thank goodness Duke was understanding.

Absolutely horrible…I should’ve known better because it’s always something with not having a vehicle available and promising a phone call “if we get something in” or “what we have available is….” If my reservation couldn’t be accommodated prior to my arrival, a telephone call from a representative would’ve been nice, to allow me to plan accordingly. I’ve witnessed this happening to two of my family members and now myself. I know this review may not mean anything to anyone, but I had to vent my frustration and disappointment with this establishment. However, if anyone has encountered this situation and are in Danville, Va area another car rental place is called “Ride Car Rental” their deposit is $150 and it’s refundable.

Mason absolutely awesome. He always gave me good customer service no matter what if I go up there and get a Car and I don't like the way I drive is it from another one he's all about making a customers happy that's good customer service
