Salvation Army has helped me for a long time. I go for my lunch but I skip the prayer because I don't want to wait to pray because I am hungry. I get two plates ( one for me and one for my dog Harriet ) These people are always so nice to me. I love everyone here. They have given me clothes when I needed them and boxes of food. It touches my heart to see how nice people are to me.

This place is the reason Danville is what it is. Stop giving free stuff to people who are perfectly capable of working. This place is the reason we have so many bums walking around

Apparently they are not in need of donations. Five times had a scheduled pick up for bedding and kitchen supplies, etc. They did not come or call as scheduled. The girl to whom we spoke just laughed, not sure what was humourous. Was not my experience when living in PA.

It’s free food but not barrier free. You will be preached to via unconventional methods while you eat (and it’s LOUD with the microphone turned way UP) and subject to being on video. In my humble opinion, it is wrong to self promote a ministry by using video publicity of the poor themselves unless they are made aware and agree to it but not under the duress of hunger. Be sure to wear your Sunday best in this food line.

Nice experience for the most part. They help me with food. A word of caution, though. When you're picking through the bread they have there, watch out! Some of it is moldy.

Didn't get the help I went there for. I went to get food during the time the website said to go but when I got there I was told you need an appointment. They need to update the website.

It's an awesome program that helps give back to the needy and low income families. I thank God for this program and may He bless them abundantly
