This credit union has THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. As of today I will be closing my account. What's the purpose of having phone service if you're not going to use it. You call with intentions of resolving particular issues but nobody is ever available to help get them resolved. I see why there's a 3 star rating.

I am a customer but URW needs to do more when it comes to customer service! They don’t pick up the phone calls. I would suggest you upgrade your bank app so we don’t got rely on your terrible customer service all the time. Most of the time I got drive to the bank to get things done! We need more features on the app!if I can get things done on the app I won’t have to rely on your uncaring customer service That never pick up the calls and always transferring calls.

First of all, I agree with other reviews here that the online site is terrible to log into...a positive is that the employee I saw each time about it was very helpful in getting access again each time I had problems. Now I have gone through a scary situation last week...my address was changed on my account without my authorization...how does this happen when URW REQUIRES a PHOTO ID before conducting business with the customer?! I didn't realize how long I'd gone without getting monthly statement in the mail, and it turns out a couple of them went to that address. Fortunately, I had a small balance and hadn't made any deposits in several months, but I still have concerns about the possibility of future identity theft. The branch president made light of the issue, saying I don't have anything to worry about, because my account wasn't compromised. The bank offered to close the account and do a new one. I asked for an explanation of how my address was changed without my authorization, was informed 2 days later that it was a clerical error, but it was not explained how my address got changed, especially when photo id is required and the person is standing right there when ID is presented. Needless to say, I closed my account, and I am no longer a URW customer. I am not one to post reviews, but I am doing this one to let others know to keep a close eye on their accounts for any unauthorized changes.

Some of the people at both locations in Danville are good people. I haven’t had no problems out of any of them. Mostly, URW gives me whatever it is that I ask for. Thank you for my 2022 Hyundai Kona AWD.

I will be honest I like the tellers and Rich in loans 5 ⭐️s to them for really trying to make up for this bank. If it was not for them I wish to give this over all bank a negative star. You have no after hours customer service; doesn’t matter because the customer service does not service the customers anyways. But back to the fact no one will pick up the calls… over all I really do not like URW so I learned a life lesson thank you.

Horrible ! Horrible management, horrible employees. Save your time and money and go somewhere else to do business with. Jo Setliff, branch manager with Lowes Drive Branch is horrible, and unprofessional.

I have never seen a a bank that does not answer the phone. The mobile banking app is terrible and I am constantly locked out. If you call for support they never call you back. Would not recommend. I will say the Yanceyville Branch is always friendly and tellers are kind but I do not always have time to go and visit in person therefore timely service over the phone would be helpful.

Not only are their systems out of date but their customer service is horrible as well. I spoke with a woman named Beverly who flat-out LIED and then tried to backtrack when I started to call her out about her blatant lies. I have never dealt with a financial institution with such horrible customer service. Do better.

I have been apart of this bank family for quite some time and when I tell you they are the nicest and most professional and helpful. They don't ACT like they No what they doing and what they say to help you financially, They actually NO!, they help me restore my credit and taught me how to be financially stable. Big shout out to # John Knowles on Lowes Dr in Danville Virginia. Mr. Knowles is a loan officer and he is a financial superman he help me and taught me with my finances and budgeting.

The people that work there are pleasant. My main issue with URW is that they don't have a customer service dept!!!! You can hardly ever get anyone on the phone and when you, you're transferred and then left on hold. The tellers really should not be expected to answer the phones. URW, get a customer service department! Get a 800 number that customers can call anytime to get their balance, or ask questions. I am not suggesting that you get people to be there 24/7 to answer calls but you do need a separate dept for this. All of your customers do not have the luxury to just drive to a branch for a simple question, or for an address change, because apparently sending a request in writing 3 times isn't sufficient enough for you! As soon as our loan is paid off, we are done!
