“I took my 1983 Jeep J10 in for three repairs.
1. Alternator bracket mount. Belt squealing.
2. Gas tank leaking. Plastic tank. I had asked to repair at a previous visit. Filled up my tank level gauge, it leaked 1/8 th of a tank. Had a stain in my driveway the size of a beach ball .. Gravel drive.
3. Radiator hose leak.
None of these were repaired.
The charge was $127.00
After 10 years happily dealing with the previous owner, I no longer use Buxton's. Would not recommend to anyone.”

Didn't even have to really get out of the car because the lady came out and took care of everything for me while I chased my toddler around. Was in and out in less than 15 minutes (would've been quicker had I not given her the wrong card the first time) and was so convenient. Taking kids to an auto shop is a mother's nightmare and this was so quick and painless. Will definitely use again!”

I grew up working in the car business all my life in Danville and can tell you this is one of the last of it's kind because they are always quick to work on a solution for any concern. I have never had a problem that we could not mutually agree on a solution. Prices are INSANELY fair. They actually care about their customers more than money and they don't try to sell cars with known issues to make money. For anyone reading the negative reviews about mechanical problems....I would tell you from tons of personal experience that these customers don't take the time to ask for and work together for a resolution with this business owner. $4500 AS IS used vehicles with 250K miles....something will probably happen. Buy a warranty. Save money for repairs that will inevitably happen.”
