My brother and I recently completed the ASA 101, 103, and 104 courses at Norton Yachts Sailing School. The organization was excellent. Ian helped us with the logistics and was a great communicator. Our captain and instructor, Jim Brewer, was knowledgeable and patient, making the experience truly enjoyable. Highly recommend anyone looking for ASA courses to consider Norton Yachts.

Best boat buying experience I’ve had! The service technicians are very knowledgeable and did an outstanding job outfitting the boat. The owners, Kendall and Anton, ensured I was very satisfied.

We took the ASA Beginners to Bareboat courses with Nortons back in the summer of 2023.Enjoyed the course, had a wonderful instructor, and quickly realized we were hooked on sailing. We are grateful to Lynn especially for all her support in putting up with us since then and working with us to find and buy our new Jeanneau sailboat. She is incredibly patient and has always been available to answer our questions and show us a number of boats, without ever making us feel pressured to make a decision. Since buying the boat the whole crew at Nortons have been really responsive and helpful. Everyone has gone out of their way to make us feel comfortable with the boat and ensure that we got everything that we asked for to make it ours. Special shouts out to Ole for his knowledge and advice, Rich for working through the quirks of our electronics and always being so cheerful and helpful, and to Kendall for turning out way beyond hours one evening to help us novices get the power running.

We have enjoyed being a Norton’s customer for over 35 years. Their sales and service has been nothing but outstanding. Today, it’s rare to say, we feel more like friends with Norton’s than customers.Great products, great people, outstanding service.

Our Captain, Jim, was fantastic, Ian was hugely helpful, and Lynn got the whole thing started. Getting my family, especially my dad, out for such a beautiful sail was the treat of a lifetime. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Dan M.

Norton Yachts did a great job on my annual spring maintenance and service work for my World Cat. All items accomplished at very reasonable expense. They were very accommodating and had great communication. Everyone we interacted with asked if they could help us and all were very positive. Overall, a great experience and we’ll be back.

A few summers ago, we rented the pontoon (actually Starcraft tritoon) from Norton and it could not have been better. They walked us through the boat features and got us on and off the water easily. The family loved it. The boat was so good and so much fun, we went ahead and bought one. Once again, Kendall and Anton were the best throughout that whole process (very patient and answered all of questions) so we got exactly what we wanted. Now we deal with Norton service folks and they are top notch too. Wish I could give this place six stars. Thanks for all you do for Deltaville!

The service manager at Norton’s, Ole Albert, is one of the more high-character and trustworthy people you’ll ever meet in the industry. Two weeks ago, I had an alternator failure that happened to stop me at Norton’s on a Sunday (with 3 of my 4 kids). Ole dropped everything and helped me get the boat back so my kids wouldn’t need to deal with the trouble any longer than necessary. When it comes to boats and the water life, it’s all about the people. I cannot say enough about the good choice of service manager that Norton’s has. THANK YOU again!

I purchased a used sailboat from Norton in February and took possession of the boat last week. The purchase transaction went very smoothly and Norton was very attentive to my schedule in terms of launching the boat for a survey. After I purchased the boat , Norton promptly fixed all of the identified issues from the survey. After this....I was on my own. No one from Norton walked me through the various systems on the boat before I took possession..In fact, no one even asked me if I wanted a walk through. The only person attentive to my needs post sale was Mike in service, who was recently let go. I rated Norton at 2 stars because of the lack of post sale support. Every customer counts...even the one who purchases a used boat instead of a new one.

Norton Yachts team enjoyed a good laughed as they happily took advantage of us and took our hard earned money. If they will do it to us, they will be happy to do it to you. After starting our trip south we noticed we had some unwanted slack in our standing rigging. I called a few rigging companies and left voicemails looking for some help with tuning. Norton yachts, being a large sailboat dealer was one of the companies I called and the first to return my voicemail.Right away I explained that I had a 42' catamaran and that I was looking for an experienced rigger to help me as it needed to be tuned and it was above my experience.Mike the service manager was quick to tell me he had the guys that could help me. Two guys came to the boat and while they were very nice guys (One even let us use his car to run to the store) they right away told me they did not have any experience working on catamaran rigs but assured me they would be able to figure it out (would have been nice for Mike to have told me this before arrival) After 2 hours, the guys stopped working and said they could not help me as it was not a job they could do and told me I needed to go to someone who worked on catamarans. To my surprise I still received a service bill of over $500 for “Rigging Tuning.” Mike’s team said my rig could not be tuned due to a turnbuckle issue. They did not offer any additional help or options and instead sent me on my way with a bill in hand. They might be the “premier Jeanneau dealer” but that doesn’t say anything to their service team just looking to make a sale.
