Excuses to not deliver packages always bogus. Real excuse lazy. No work ethics. Absent Post Misstress. Packages have been crushed to go into mail box. Is it worth my time to be further ignored?

I filed a complaint on a mail carrier for delivering packages in my garage while the door was open. According to USPS the mail carrier is supposed to place the packages on the porch and the mail in the box. Since I filed a complaint the Postmaster has told the mail carriers to refuse all of my packages and make me come to the post office for pickup.

Hours state closed from 12pm to 1pm for lunch. Show up at 1145, they're closed. Show up at 110pm... STILL CLOSED. just shut this place down and use the Prince George post office. They lost a $1100 dollar watch that was pit for delivery, so we know they had it.

It wouldn’t let me do two reviews so I deleted my last one. Same s**t different day with this post office. Won’t deliver mail in a timely manner, leaves packages in driveway in the rain, leaves my stuff at the neighbors house, leaves packages hanging off the mailbox, folds sensitive items in half (destroying them) to fit in the mailbox, tries to deliver at night knowing I block the road at night to keep methheads out. Came to complain at the office about a month ago, no one was there, I waiting an hour before someone showed up to help me, it was 2pm on a Wednesday. The only decent carrier they’ve had delivering my route I haven’t seen her in two months, she probably quit.

Usually when you go in the Disputanta post office, there is only one person and she acts annoyed that you are bothering her. Well, I wouldn't be in there if the mail carrier delivered my packages like she's suppose to do; instead, the mail carrier leaves the "my driveway is over half a mile" (it's not) as the reason not to deliver my packages.

Have these people ever heard of getting out of there vehicle and knocking on the door when you need someone’s signature cuz apparently they don’t know how to do that and they have not paid attention to the address on the packages cuz now it’s the 4th time I’ve had to go to there to get my packages ???

This post office needs more people for sure, sometimes I go a couple of days with no mail then I have a bundle. Sad thing is I'm almost at the end of my route so delivery fluctuates anywhere between 2 pm and 7 or 8 pm at the latest. I even had an incident once where I walked down to check the mail, opened box, no mail. Started heading back and I heard a vehicle coming down the road, it was my mail carrier heading back to post office after completing his route, I heard him come to and abrupt halt and start backing up, he hollered hey I've got your mail. I walked back up to the road and got my mail from him and was thinking, wth, had he not seen me he was taking my mail back to the post office! Most of the time I go to the post office at PG Courthouse to drop off mail or send packages. One star is way too much of a rating for this joke, shut it down. This is a prime example of why post office is losing money.

Customer service is just horrible. The actual mail carriers are much better than the workers. I wish they send that lady Wiggins back where she came from she's so rude & constantly gets complaints & she's the reason why people go to the prince George or Petersburg location. Just get a new postmaster

I missed a letter that required my signature, so I went in today to retrieve it. Understaffed, but very friendly and professional.

There's no disputing it, this rural post office in Disputanta needs improvement! The tiny brick building which looks like a Monopoly piece, serves the local community, but not very efficiently. They close their doors from 12-1 pm for lunch, presumably because they don't have enough employees to stagger their lunch hours. That's a new twist. They have limited services, no passport service and minimal supplies. One daily pickup at 5pm M-F, and 10:30am on Saturday. Hours are 8:30-5:00 with the one hour closure midday. The lobby stays open 24 hours a day. I'm sure it's not thrilling working at a P.O., but in order for this government business to get better, they really need to push the envelope!

I've always had a good experience at this post office. Unfortunately they are closed during lunch from 12-1 so I don't go there often. (Reason for 3 stars) They don't bring enough income in so they are outdated. I'm sure if they would be open at lunch for more availability their income would be better.

Terrible customer service. Missing and damaged mail. An inheritance check was ripped in half. The latest incident was told package never arrived at their facility, Adress was wrong, package was sent back to the sender, and the whole time it was there in the Post Office. Was in Chester for 15 years and never had a single problem.
