We sent our valuable Persian rug to be cleaned after a fire, for smoke removal. The rug came back very badly stained and with frayed edges. We have no pets. Another company quoted $1500 to repair. Bergmann’s service was terrible and they charged us full price. Don’t use them!Services: Carpet & rug cleaning

Worst Customer Service. I have yet to receive a call back from any manager. Will try and reach the owner next! They separated my linens to include fuel charges for each one dry cleaned. We would have 4 exact same linens picked up. Then delivered a week later and charged separately to include a fuel charge on each linen. When I spoke to AP department, they said someone would get back to me.Service: Upholstery cleaning

They have closed permanently. I drove to their Dulles address, and the plant is gone, as is their headquarters.

Dropped off laundry oi May 31. Expscted return on June 7 Called to complain. Delivery was rescheduled for June 10 but arrived June 9.So what 's the problem? Theproblem is Bergmann's has deducted money twice from my account for this transaction.

I have used Bergmann’s Cleaning for 20 years and presently have 11 rugs in my home that have been cleaned by the company so I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied by my most recent experience with the company when I sent a rug to be cleaned only to have it ruined (the colors all bled). I allowed the company the opportunity to fix it, but the rug was returned in the same unacceptable condition almost two months later (the driver took the rug back to the store because it is useless). I had left messages for the manager/ president that went unreturned. When I finally was able to reach the manager/ president to request a $139 refund that I was charged in advance, he was defensive and basically blamed me saying it was pet stains ( I don’t have any pets and the rug damage is bleeding of colors not stains; what was once a cream rug is now a dull brown rust combination). He offered a partial refund saying he didn’t do work for free (even though I returned the useless rug). As a customer who has used this business without complaint for 20 years, I can tell you that this not the same Bergmann’s business that used to be professional and used to do a great job. I and my now deceased family have used Bergmann’s for many years. I had a long lull, but I’m back. At this same address. Several years ago Bergmann’s lost an entire seasons wardrobe but I’m forgiving. I haven’t looked at my small dry cleaning order yet, but I will. I am disappointed that you no longer do press only.

Very happy customer for over 30 years. Why? Clothing finished very well in laundry. If laundry lost it is almost always found. When money is found in a jacket, it is always returned in full. Delivery service friendly, any problem corrected. Well done everyone.

I have used their at home pick-up/delivery service for several years now for laundering and boxing (rather than putting on hangers) my dress shirts. The service has been terrific. The shirts are laundered and boxed well. The pickup and delivery guy is friendly and dependable. I recommend them.
