The actual moving guys are fantastic. The guy who gave us a quote, and the front office folks are entirely unhelpful and just terrible people to leave your family's move to. Avoid them if you can. Also make sure you review the fine print of the quote they give you. What you ask for, and what they quote you, may be two very different things.

We made a cross country move from northern Virginia to Colorado & are so happy we chose ShoreView! The process was smooth, the coordinators communicated with us well, and our things arrived within the delivery window. Highly recommend this reputable company - moving is stressful enough & using Shoreview was well worth the money for peace of mind and convenience.

This was my second time using Shoreview and I was so pleased with their service, start to finish. To top it off, I had the same crew as the previous year. I would highly recommend Shoreview to anyone anticipating a long-distance move.

They arrived early- which is my only issue. I was hoping they would arrive with in the time frame but they arrived an hour early. The company coordinates well and checks in. They handle items with care. The process is easy. The price is expensive but competitive. The only way you will get a cheaper price is if you get a uhual and hire movers and loaders/unloaders. Then you wouldn't be insured if something happened to your things. They have base access which we needed. They are fast but careful. They did our whole 2 bedroom in 5.5 hours including 45 minutes drive time. That's taking apart beds packing them and putting them back together. One couch a recliner two entertainment centers and a very large desk. A bakers rack. Then all additional packing and boxes. And random lamps.
5/5 highly recommend. Also please tip your movers cash. It's not a requirement. It's not something they pushed. Get them water and tip them. They are loading and unloading thousands of pounds of your items in variant weather. Plus setting up your items for you such as your night stands and beds and dressers. These guys are amazing. They deserve a little extra.

Whole house estimate, pack and move from VA to SC. All aspects created a great first time experience. Rick did a great job estimating our job, customer service with Tanya was frequent and accommodating, crew manager Henry was excellent communicator. I would absolutely use again and highly recommend.

Shoreview handled my most recent move cross country from VA to NV.
The process was friendly, efficient, and thorough from the beginning to end.
Rick assisted in visiting my home for an inspection to quote, from there his team of coordinators Lindsay and Tanya handled all of the scheduling and attended to my needs or were available for questions and concerns.
Ed and the movers did a good job packing, great job transporting, and amazing job unloading and bringing into my new residence.
This is the kind of moving experience you would expect and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a clean and easy relocation.

The entire moving experience with Shore View Moving & Storage was a great one. After a smooth packing and loading of our household goods and vehicles at our residence, the unloading went just as well at the destination point. The driver arrived before 8:00 am and was ready to go with the moving team soon after. We discussed our plan, which was for me to direct them on where items without tags or specific descriptions should go in the house. Everything got to where it belonged without any issues. Afterwards, they set up all of the beds and assembled furniture for normal use in each room. Items were set in the garage and outside in an orderly fashion to allow for complete unpacking, as necessary, at a later date. The driver and team were efficient, courteous, and careful throughout the process. They worked quickly, but not in a hurried or manner out of control. They finished around 3:00 pm the same day after a final check and signing of the paperwork with the driver. I was quite happy with how things went including support from staff in the main office, which was needed when a slight mix up occurred with transporting our two vehicles. The office staff handled the issue professionally and in a courteous manner and it was quickly resolved. Again, great work and kudos to a job well done from start to finish at a very reasonable and fair price.
