I will not be returning. I waited in the drive thru for over 15 mins to pickup my sons medicine, whom is disabled. When i arrived to the window, i was told i had to pay for my sons Rx out of pocket which i was aware of beforehand. But I have a 10% off Rx card that i wanted to apply to see if it will allow me any savings and i was denied and told to come inside due to the line being long. I explained my son is disabled and that would not be feasible and the cashier did not attempt to use the Rx savings card.

Always seems to be a problem. Just picking up a prescription is difficult. I
Prescriptions frequently aren't ready. Randomly closed without warning. Problems with orders. Always something.

Not pleased at alll with method used if you don't have your extra care card. Cashier ask for your phone number so it ends up the owner of that phone number loses her coupon discounts. NOT GOOD.
CHANGE THE RULE....

Vast improvements over the past year. Still need some occasional coaching (pharmacy staff); however, definitely improved.

I came in on Friday morning and had excepcional customer service nowadays it’s hard to incounter someone with readiness to help and that will go out of there way. Chantel was who assisted me I needed change for smaller bills and she was really helpful I know must of the time workers will turn this request away just to get out of helping you aside from helping she had a great attitude when speaking to me.

The pharmacy needs another round of training on the Virginia state laws.
Starting 1/3/2021, any pharmacist in the state of Virginia is able to prescribe OTC emergency contraceptives. This is a protocol made by the Virginia Board of Pharmacy, btw. It's all public knowledge. It's literally the FIRST thing that pops up on Google when you look it up.
That being said, I came in hoping to get a plan b paid for by my insurance. I spoke to a pharmacy tech and they asked the pharmacist on duty for clarification. He immediately said no and didn't even try to look up state laws either. I'm unsure if this is based on the stigma that "pharmacists can't prescribe medicine", but that is completely false (SPECIFICALLY IN THE STATE OF VIRGINIA).
I have reported this training issue to CVS and I truly hope they fix this. This has been a Statewide Protocol for THREE years now and it's a shame they still aren't made aware of it--that or he just didn't want to be bothered to write me a prescription, but that brings up the issue of why tf you're working in the medical profession if you don't want to actually HELP people. ?
