I was a walk-in and was seen in under an hour. Sign in process fairly simple. Dr. Harper listened to my concerns, answered all of my questions and provided me with the best solution to resolve my issue.

The NP Shaleyna that saw and treated my son was nothing short of incredible! My son is on the spectrum and I told her when we arrived so she’d understand why he wasn’t speaking and very unsure about being examined. She was so kind and patient with him and was able to complete most of the exam. I highly recommend the Dumfries VA location and the NP there Shaleyna Harper!! We will definitely come back in the future.

Billing Department Negligence—Took $1,484 Without Verifying Insurance & Now Delaying Refund
I visited this Minute Clinic, and while the medical staff was fine, the billing process is a nightmare. They immediately withdrew $1,484 from my account without properly verifying my insurance, even though I provided my Anthem coverage. Instead of contacting Anthem to confirm—as they could have easily done using the contact information listed on the back of my insurance card—they relied on a third-party system with outdated information that incorrectly marked me as “not covered.”
Now that I’ve contacted Anthem and confirmed that I was covered at the time of my visit, Minute Clinic still has not admitted any mistake. Instead, they are simply resubmitting the claim, which means I will have to wait 30 to 40 days before I can get my money back.
And come to think of it—my flu shot and COVID-19 shot cost me $1,484. Sure, they were also checking some inflammation in my eye, but that’s beside the point. The fact remains that they failed to verify my coverage properly and immediately withdrew a significant amount of money from my account.
Patients should not have to fight to get their own money back due to a billing department’s negligence. If you use insurance here, be extremely cautious—they may take your money first and make you wait weeks to get it back.

Both Practitioners at the CVS clinic are excellent and professional. I will encourage anyone who need a quick check up or shots please go to the the mini clinic CVS in Dumfries off Route 1.

Had a quick and efficient visit today at the minute clinic at this location. The NP Shaleyna Harper provided great service and was very efficient at her job. Also the nurse barbara was excellent as well!

If I could give No⭐Zilch or 0⭐'s I would lady in charge (per her words) in the Minute Clinic was nice then turned to the left ??Rude, disrespectful & impatient as I was tryNn get the $ to pay up front due to being misinformed that it was covered undered insurance plan. Rushing me & a child out of there! I certainly left. I advise & was taught if you're not nice or how u talk to others don't say nothing. Find a job that doesn't require people!!!! Never this location a g a I n... Went some1 else very professional thru it all should of went n the 1st place! My bad?

The nurse is not helpful at all.she is in a rush to close the clinic and leave.I waited for more than 45 minutes I was waiting at the window and they didn't do the test .I have to reschedule.It takes her a minute just to do the Tb test.

Got in at 4:40pm and they couldn’t see me because they were closing soon at 5:30pm. I am thinking is 40min not enough to see a patient? The staff was just chitchatting!

I had to take my daughter for a volleyball game but we found out that we needed a sports physical done before hand. I went to this location without an appointment and asked for a favor. The doctor and her assistant accomodated us with a smile and we were out within 45 minutes with a report in our hand. Fantastic. Thank you team.

Please be careful when visiting this site. They will never tell you that they will charge you 139$ for a regular visit. I went there for regular stomach pain, and I didn’t get any meds as well. I was billed 139$. STAY AWAY!
