USPS:Dumfries Va. Customer service ok. Not overly friendly. However the service we pay a lot for is bad.The post office should put on your receipt for Priority Mail the expected delivery date 7-12 days in tge future, not 5 day. I dropped off a package on May 2. Paid $19. Today is May 10th. Not delivered yet and it is in limbo in San Fran or in Hawaii according to text updates. 8 days and counting. And postage is going up yet again in 2025.

Unnecessary attitude from behind the desk. Completely uncalled for. There needs to be customer service training on how to properly speak to and answer questions from customers. I don't spend my days at the post office so, surprisingly, there are things I don't know. Instead of explaining things (there was only one other person there who didn't need help at the moment so she had time), I got snarky responses as if I was a dumb child. Either learn to speak to customers appropriately or don't be in customer service at all. I was in a good mood before I walked in there...

This post office is close to my house so it's the one I've usually gone to, but lately the service has really tanked. I went today and the lady behind the desk refused to take my package simply because she didn't feel like dealing with it!!! She literally had no excuse other than she didn't want to! Like, ISN'T THAT YOUR WHOLE JOB?!?!?! I had made a special trip just to get my package taken care of only to be met with absolute RUDENESS and an inability to get this errand taken care of. Despite the convenient location, I will avoid going here in the future.

I had the most awful experience today with an associate called Susan. Right from the moment I walked in, she was rude and unfriendly. She acted like she hated her job and unfortunately she was the only one working! I used to like going to this location but lately, it's torture!!

I usually deliver my business clients letters through this USPS, however today I had an incident where the lady that took my order, first, in less words made me feel ignorant, when I literally go there every week to send documents, secondly asked me the same questions trying to make me feel I was wrong. Lastly she gave me a ton of stamps, even though I asked to get the letters weight and for sure ended up confusing me, and was rude when I asked for assistance with that many stamps (I never use stamps). Finally will take my business somewhere else

Love this store! They are always so warm and friendly STORE 5555 I would recommend to anyone. All employees are welcoming and knowledgable. I’ve been going here for over 5 years and the manager is wonderful! This is located by the Panera and Target as well.

Like most of the comments, the lady in the front was unprofessional and rude. When you ask them a question, they answer as if things are common sense…why would I ask a question if I already know? She was also on her phone when I got there and there was a person in front of me who was waiting to be helped for some time. Can clearly tell she does not like her job nor does she want to be there.

Terrible...my medication was delivered to the wrong address, signed for by someone who I don't know and continues to be lost. I don't even need to list the myriad of ways that this is unacceptable. Reading addresses is not that hard. Confirming last names is not that hard. It also appears a child signed for it...a prescription. Do better.

The worst usps store ever. The employees are too rude. If you question their methods, they will simply ask you to leave and go to another store. Way too rude with every single customer.
