Dave Powers said he had all of these years of experience on trucks like mine and knew EVERYTHING there is to know about them. Having described the issue of a starter bolt, and me not being able after 2 heart attacks to do it myself, he said no problem. Paid to have my truck towed to his shop where after 2 weeks he tried getting me to buy a used motor from his friend that he could put in for more than $2,000 dollars. I had my truck towed back home and my friend held my starter in place where I bolted it in and have been driving it ever since. Motor has less than 73,000 miles on it and rather than make a light profit , replacing a bolt and keep a customer he wanted a major profit while pretending to be a mechanic and definitely beIng a con man.

My husband paid to have his truck towed here after being persuaded by the owner that noone could fix it but him. My husband has had 2 heart attacks and unable to do the work. The truck sat untouched for 2 weeks and Dave Powers tried getting us to have him put in a new motor and didn't even attach parts that were sent with the truck. Said it couldn't be fixed. Had it towed back to the house where my husband fixed it and drives it everyday and got Greg Jacobs garage to install the other parts, professionally.
