Wonderful experience with general towing today. I ran out of fuel on the side of the road and called General Towing they answered right away and got to my vehicle with 5 gallons of gas in less than an hour.
I can't say enough about how professional and reasonable he was( I forgot the man's name) would recommend to any of in the area if they assistance towing a vehicle or just a fuel delivery.

I had been in an accident and was parked on the side of the road waiting for my tow truck. Elwood Gregory from General Towing & Recovery just happened to be driving by. He pulled his truck up behind me, and turned on his flashing yellow lights so that I would not be hit again. To be clear, General Towing was NOT the tow company I was waiting for. Elwood stopped out of the goodness of his heart and stayed with me until I was safely in the other companies truck and on my way to the repair shop.
He was my guardian angel that day and if you ever need a tow, please call him!

My van broke down on a busy highway, leaving me and my three kids stranded. General Towing was fast and easy to work with. They even contacted me about my van being fixed when the repair shop accidentally called them. I highly recommend them.

Let's see called for a lock out, and pretty much I got screwed..I could have been an unhonest person which I should have if I knew tow truck companies still got paid even if the job got canceled through ones insurance company. Well I learned my lesson..keep up what your doing there bubba..

I gotta sing their praises. They are fantastic!!! I called them around 11:15 pm today because I got stuck in a ditch. They were so willing to come out. I could not even get the towing companies in the Northern Neck to even answer my phone call. I highly recommend them and their towing rates are very reasonable. I would recommend this towing company because they are so willing to help you no matter the time or place. 5 stars!!!!

I called my insurance agent and asked for towing service. They arranged for my car to picked up and delivered the day before my car was service for my appointment. I had this insurance for several years but did not realize how convenient and inexpensive it was to the point there was no charge. I have triple A but now I know to call for General towing & Recovery through my insurance. The service was great and so was the hospitality. Called my insurance company‘s roadside service this morning. My vehicle was picked up by General Towing and Recovery and towed just a few hours later. They had to drive about 40 miles or so to get to my home. I’m very pleased and highly recommend this business.Service: Car towing
