Roaring Run Day Use Area is a beautiful and scenic place featuring an easy, well-maintained trail. The very easy hike is short and follows a gorgeous stream with waterfalls and many cascades along the entire way. The waterfall is gorgeous and tranquil. There are many spots for taking a dip, including several natural rock slides with shallow pools at the bottom. These provide fun for the whole family, with varying levels from slower rocks for little kids to a more intense final slide. It is a great family favorite for outings, perfect for spending the whole day playing and relaxing by the water. The area can get really crowded in the summer months, so arriving early is recommended. On weekdays and in the cooler seasons, it is not busy at all.
Beautiful easy hike. Couple boards missing from the bridges but prob the shutdown.

Very easy 1.5 mile hike round trip; minimal elevation gain. Beautiful stream and waterfalls the entire way. Many spots for taking a dip and sliding down the rocks, though the water was pretty cold today.
